Superbowl yesterday was ok, but not as crazy as I was hoping.

Commercials were pretty meh, but there were a couple of gems.

    Puppy Bowl VI was fantastic!

    Congrats to the Saints.

Yes Manning is totally mediocre. 4 MVP's and a superbowl ring is pretty much par for the course among Quarterbacks in the NFL.

Manning did always have a great defense to support him in his earlier playoff appearances though.

I didnt say he's totally mediocre

    just his postseason record.

    For some reference:

    Montana: 16-7
    Elway: 14-7
    Rapesburger: 8-2
    Brady: 14-4
    Warner: 8-3
    Aikman: 11-4
    Bradshaw: 14-5
    Unitas: 6-2
    Bart Starr: 9-1

Oh yeah, the Colts still have that reputation of being a defensive powerhouse, but having very little offense. I mean, Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark hardly get any attention. Totally underrated.

One guy was in the Fugees and has talent. The other is in the Blackeyed Peas and peaked in the Wolverine movie.

Didn't Warner miss the playoffs for like 6 straight seasons? Which is worse: going to the playoffs and losing or not going at all?

Is going to the playoffs a million years in a row all that great if you never win?

also: Warner was hurt a lot of those years he missed out on the postseason.

I'm not trying to argue that Warner is a better QB than Manning, but he's been more impressive in the postseason than Manning has.

Manning is a first ballot hall of famer and his regular season records might never be broken, but in the playoffs he has been less than incredible.

Thursday came the news of Chad Ochocinco saying that he wanted to see Terrell Owens sign with the Bengals. During a party in Miami on Friday, which was attended by coach Marvin Lewis, Owens said that he would change his name to Ochouno if he came to Cincinnati.
This would be the best thing.
