    I got on the train this afternoon before overtime started.

    About half way through my trip a dude got on and shouted "WE WON THE GOLD" and everyone on the train started cheering.

    There were people walking the down the streets waving Canadian flags and everyone was honking and it was a weird day.

    So seriously, how did they fuck up the musical portion that badly? They started so well, with Shatner, Michael J. Fox, Michael Buble and the fantastically over the top Canadian dance number. But then, everything from Nickelback on was pure, unfiltered terrible.

    World, I apologize for everything post-Buble. If it makes you feel better, we Canadians hated it too.

    Seriously, how did they manage to ignore every good Canadian band? Rush, Barenaked Ladies, Great Big Sea; hell, I would have gladly accepted Tragically Hip over what we got, and I don't like Tragically Hip.
    And again, how do you have a celebration of all things Canadian without having Rush? Seriously!
