My ally and an opponent got taken out in a 2v2. The opponents ally kept trying to make a comeback but I wouldn't let him.
The other enemy got pretty ahead of me in resources but I managed to expand late and build a bunch of banshees with cloaking and that sealed the deal. WAVES AND WAVES of hydras died to my banshee murder.

So, as terran, what do I do to counter collossus? The situation being I've built some marines and marauders, have a factory up, they've got some stalkers, zealots and a robo bay being constructed.
Collossi counter M&Ms really hard. I tried rushing him when I saw he was building a robotics bay, but the colossus came out before I got there and raped my marines (this was on blistering sands, aka the longest ground path between bases short of that space station map).

Basically, as soon as your factory is out, immediately go for 2 starports -> tech labs, assign both ports to a hotkey, and spam that E key whenever you have mins.

They do counter MMs but if you just used your starport to double build some vikings, you can kill the collosi very quickly.
And if all he has is zealots, there'll be nothing he can do about it.
The great thing about using vikings is you don't even have to change your build order, you just have to build a few less medivacs.
I have not seen a reaper in like the past 50 games I've played.
Same, i haven't seen them ever since that patch.
edit: actually i did see them on desert oasis, i scouted them with my ol and had lings waiting for them when they popped up, none survived.
now that i am a little calmer, the reason i was hatin' on reapers was because i lost a game earlier pretty quickly when a guy rushed me with like 5 reapers while i was making zealots to rush his base by jumping up and down a cliff in my spawn. i would have been able to make some stalkers quickly for the defense if he hadn't killed one of my pylons. i dont know how far up the terran tech reapers are but if i was making zealots and he was making reapers i am probably very very bad or something

i feel like it should be some kind of really really short cooldown
but i know it was my fault for having filled my psi up and didn't have any pylons in the makin's to keep producing units

If the reapers are a problem for you, just leave a couple zealots by your workers. They'll kill off the majority.
And reapers are like, tier 1.5 since you only need a barracks tech lab.
I got reaper rushed mid-game, but honestly, two sieged tanks took care of them. They're not much of a threat if you leave a few units in your base.
This is true, though they do a good deal of damage and if they swarm you they can reek havoc on worker lines. I really like to get a small number of them when I go against protoss.
For anyone that plays on Shakuras Plateau, make sure you defend the breakable rocks. I've gone through that back passage right off the bat with marines and marauders, and it's never failed me.

By the time you have colossi you should have a starport with a reactor for pumping medivacs, and if you've got that, you have access to the vikings the other gentleman mentioned.
