Are there any other gamers (preferably those who are mainly interested in Pokemon/MTG) who are willing to have one of the only outgoing nerdy teenagers ever join their group? My friends are all saving their money for anime boston, and being at the MTG tables alone all weekend will probably get boring fast.

Also: Anyone who wants to be a teammate for any of the mtg minimasters but sunday's (which my boyfriend and I will be kicking ass at) is welcome to join me :P

(Let's just make this a general "Find a Buddy" thread so it isn't a waste of space.)

    You can find a buddy just by going to PAX. Go to any community event and you'll make a friend. If you're waiting in a line for anything just start talking to the people around you. The myth of non-outgoing nerds is just that, a myth. Most people will be glad to start up a random conversation with a stranger, because hey, you'll all be at PAX because of a love of gaming so there's guaranteed to be common ground there.

    Hey! I hope everyone is excited for PAX East!!! I know I am since it's alot closer to where I live than PAX.

    So anyways, I'll be heading out for Saturday and Sunday. A friend of mine is going too, but he will be an Enforcer so most of the day he'll be busy with that. If anyone else is going with an odd number or by themselves let me know! we'll hang out and stuff.
