Scott Kurtz Panel

I hope so...I heard it was a riot and, after seeing him and Kris the next morning and laughing till I hurt, made me wish that the Kurtz panel wasn't at the same time as the concert.

Yeah, but the line situation was at that horrible point where the Enforcers were like "You should get in... but maybe not... " and both console rooms and classic arcade room were pretty empty... it was the story of my weekend: Waiting in line got beat out by fooling around almost every time.
We were in the lobby bar next to Scott, Mary, and Kris as they were making notes for his panel. Just the bits and pieces of the stories were hilarious. I told him before we left at 9, that now that we'd heard the teaser trailer, we had to go get in line. I also said that I wouldn't tell anyone Binwin had switched to Cosmos, but we saw how long that little secret lasted.
To me that was the main event of Pax East.
I can't even absorb all i heard that night,it's still slowly coming back to me.
wish i recorded it.
I'm still recalling bits hear and there and chuckling about it.
Alpha Fat Guy was epic.
When he went to text/call his wife and they grabbed the phone off him.

I'm really hoping somebody filmed it as well. My team wasn't able too because we had to be at the concerts, but if anybody did happen to film the entire panel, in whatever capacity, please submit it to us!
I actually really hope that it never finds its way online.
I mean, I'm not slamming you guys for missing it (it was incredible) but...there's something about it that makes me think it should be one and done.
His blamimation one with Kris the following morning was also awesome.
Did you stay for the panel after that? I loved it. The one panelist didn't see Scott's panel and he said,"Well. I don't know why Dr. Quinn would be your first historical choice to bang people."
I was laughing so hard that I got the hiccups, and then I started laughing with the hiccups, and then I died. WAY TO GO SCOTT KURTZ. My death is on your hands!!!
"I'm fat, and she's got no torso. The kid would be a short, fat person."
..
..
..
"Oh, she knows she has no torso."
And of course.
".....the fucker actually did it."
I'm trying to remember the line about the guy not getting laid because he got annihilated by Khoo in ping pong.
oh god how did that go? something about you couldn't let him win? he'll never get laid now.she broke up with him and something about his dick never being hard again?
That panel was like getting semi-wasted and doing some of the most awesome shit in your life and not really recalling it buy you know you just did some awesome shit so you need to tell someone about it.
anyone who was in that room is better for it.
the panel sunday morning where he shed some light on how he felt like an asshole for it and why he's like that really made the whole experience better.

He really is a great guy.
I was thinking that would have been the perfect time to blow an air horn. I wish I had one
My friend recorded the first 20 minutes, and I have a copy (I was there in person for the panel) but I think it's best to let everyone know that it was an awesome, surreal panel, but that we respect that what happens during An Evening With Scott Kurtz shouldn't leave the room, at least not in the form of video!
My favorite part was when Mike took Scott's phone from him to stop him from texting his wife.

Heya folks, just as a reminder, we are indeed searching high and low for anyone with this footage. We really, really want it on the Community DVD. If anyone has it, or if you find it anywhere online, by all means let us know! Want it SO bad.

I did not catch the Saturday night panel, but I did catch the Blamimation panel with Straub. Honest-to-goodness funny stuff.
I do not care for PvP, but I love the Blamimations, and as a comedian I think Kurtz is hilarious.
Hands down one of the best three effing hours I've ever spent! You don't get that kind of honesty out of people often and his delivery was SO good. When he started to come up to the front of the room, and it was obvious he had been drinking, I was thinking, "Oh man, this is going to be an effing train wreck" but you could see him become more and more comfortable with us being there. Hats off to everyone for letting him know we wanted to hear that one story he was going to tell about that one thing about that time with the person that said that one thing....except for the one chick who left and almost ruined it for us!

Equally funny was what Scott THOUGHT she offered him.

I'll second this.
The panel was made by the intimacy, and to watch it later on a little youtube window would just diminish it so much.

Later on..."So Dad, what happend?"
"Oh, you know, something wrong with the lights in the car"
"You know that's not what we were talking about!"
His panel and the Blamimation w/ Kris were amazing, definitely not to be missed next year or ever.
Til then, I'll see you in Stellar Cartography.
