Toronto would be an amazing place for it. We already did really well with our inagural comicon.
I mean come on! The Pure Pwnage guys could be there and everything! hahaha

Two is a gigantic enough of an undertaking as is. If PAX <Your Town> is going to happen, it won't be for quite some time.

    Other issues:
What gaming presence is in Toronto?
Toronto is fairly close, in the grand scheme of things, to Boston. What's the point?
I'm sure planning and running an international PAX would add plenty more headaches, but if they're going to go for that, wouldn't it make more sense to go a little bit more international than Canada?

Is it PAX <insert nearest future PAX here> yet?

I'm not an official source but from what I have read they are not eve thinking about other locations for PAX until they get East of the ground.

BigRed has a full time Microsoft job, yet he, as well as other Seattle PAXers took the trip to Boston. So who are you calling lazy?

    EDIT: Damn he beat me...

But anyways, I will get there next year come hell or high water!

You will have more luck saving up money to go to PAX than trying to get PAX to come to you :P

Man really toronto? WTF its a 1.5hr plane trip whats the point? The point is to bring pax to people who dont have the ability to travel LONG distances. Hell i can drive the some 500 miles from toronto to boston in 1 DAY. I can drive some 500miles and not even reach the end of my state. Sorry if your not willing to at least travel across one state then your lazy period. Now if you were someone in the middle of nunauvt complaining about far it is i could see your point, but if you are some 1 days car trip i have no sympathy for you AT ALL.

Hell look at the ccst if you want to see dedication.

This is not something that is going to happen any time soon, and given Toronto's close proximity to Boston (in the grand scheme of things), I wouldn't count on it happening there. If anything, PAX Europe or PAX Australia are much more likely than PAX Canada.

Additionally, BigRed is right, everybody wants PAX to come to their hometown. Unfortunately this is not logistically possible. Please stop campaigning for PAX to come to your hometown until such a time (read: 5 or so years from now) when the people at PA are looking for suggestions on where to bring PAX next.

    Thank you.
