It's a really really cool and simple story. I think if you're looking for more than it is going into it, you'll be disappointed. How much do you know about it?

Not much. I like Sam whats his face and I know it's psychological sci-fi or something and people say it's good.
Except now the goddamn gardeners are here next door with loud ass leafblowers.

That's what I get for posting while Dyr yaps at me.
How's the South.
It's been kind of weird. Monday we were walking around downtown and this guy yelled out 'hey sexy' as he drove past, but Dyr and I can't figure out if he was shouting at me or him. Then we had a security guard lie to us about the observation deck at Winston Tower, saying it was closed to the public because of someone who jumped off in the 70's. Met a couple of Egyptian sisters at the K&W who seemed intimidated by the hijab and my saying 'insha'Allah', I felt for them, since they can't work if they wear it. We went to Old Salem today and someone asked me about how I was dressed and was really polite, so that was nice. Mostly I just get stares and that weird 'sideways-not-stare' that these southerners seem to be really good at. It's kind of uncomfortable, everywhere I go I'm being watched.
Other than the staring it's been really cool though. The weather's nice and all the flowers are coming out so it's really beautiful. There are some good restaurants, not fancy, but good basic cooking which is refreshing. Old Salem was really cool, the blacksmith there's a really chatty guy. We're going to Pilot Mountain tomorrow for a hike and a picnic. Dyr's kind of tense with his Mom around, but it's not too bad. The neighbors are really nice, might have dinner with one of them tomorrow night. Dyr's aunts are coming up Friday, so we'll be spending the weekend with them. Lots of things to look forward to.
Wow, super lucky! No weed, but Fred Meyers had copies of Monster Hunter 3 with the Classic Controller Pro. Things have really improved in Juneau, video game-wise.
Hard not for great dane pictures to be awesome. If I had a ranch/mansion/yacht I'd own one or two.
Housesat with a buddy of mine and the owners had two great danes. I'm sure you have really been around them, but for people who haven't interacted/played with them, it's fucking terrifying. They're like fucking horses.

Hey Marmaduke!
Did you dig a hole today?
Huh?
Did you eat someone else's food?
Did you behave in a disobedient fashion?
No, here's an awesome picture of a great dane:
AWWWW YEAHHHHH
Ok, I am all but decided on the Mac, now I just need to figure out how I want i configured.
Good. Def watch it then. Way more fun when you don't know much about it.
I swear to God I am going to hang up.
You're all played out, Marmaduke! You're all washed up! No one gets why you're still around!
People whisper about this to each other!
Even though I do feel as though a part of me has died inside.
you have made the right choice elldren
you have done a great thing here today
I am very happy with my mac.
Basically, if you aren't waiting for your next paycheck to clear before buying groceries, the mac is a good choice.
If you are waiting for your next paycheck to clear before buying groceries, I'd recommend something like dell or hp or emachines or something.

This is the worst thing I've ever read.

if you are on a tight budget I would not recommend buying a mac
and all the MBP's have bitchin' graphics
so all it really comes down to is how absurdly cutting edge a processor you want/can afford
What happened?
He basically implied that if you have trouble buying groceries go buy a poor person's computer.
I think it occupies the same price model as, like, starbucks
so if you don't mind blowing an extra dollar or two, it's pretty alright
but it's hard to justify if you are looking to get as many bangs as you can for your bucks

Chill out. Macs are universally regarded as expensive. Yes, if you have trouble buying groceries, a cheaper computer is probably warranted.
