Kyle Wilson CB. I'm going to use this for temporary delusion to say Pats are going to trade up and took the CB they wanted before the Jets could

Wow, no CBs for the Vikes is pretty much the best scenario I could've hoped for...

    And we got Bulaga!

The Vikes just signed Leto Shepard, not that they don't need more CBs than that, but still an upgrade nonetheless

So ESPN is basically saying that the Jets just took a much, much better CB than the Pats did one pick earlier.

I wanna go on record pre-pick, I want Jimmy Clauson. You could keep him in reserve for up to 2 years, and no way we bring back Farve for 3 more seasons. Perfect time to get a top tier QB talent at a relatively low price.

Steve Young is talking over everyone. So annoying.

And Berman, Favre has absolutely no bearing on whether or not the Vikes would take Clausen.

And Gruden, the Vikes are not drafting a backup RB with the 30th overall.

    These guys are nuts.

They don't know what they are talking about. Mayock, Kiper and maybe McShay are the only ones with even a bit of an idea and if they were that good they'd be scouting for a team instead. They're just making small talk

"BULLETIN...there are reports that a second Tebow has just struck the south tower"

"at 5,281 feet, denver's the closet nfl city to heaven."

"Is McDaniel's going to survive the night in Denver? Trade Marshall for the second best receiver in the draft, sign Brady Quinn for no damn reason, and now draft Tebow? Somewhere in a Denver sports bar, there are a couple drunk guys talking about getting some torches and pitchforks together, right?"

"I stand corrected. The NFL is farking retarded. Colt McCoy and Jimmy Claussen still on the board and Tim farking Tebow drafted in the 1st round? If I'm a Broncos fan I'm on a bridge like Jack Shepherd in S4 LOST"

    "Season 3 actually."

"So next season our quarterbacks are going to be Tim Tebow, Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn.
Maybe we could trade for JaMarcus Russell and have the whole farking set."

"The Broncos now have both Quinn and Tebow. A proverbial pantheon of Courageous Godliness"

    "shawnemerriman:
Does Tim Tebow have a twitter?I want to introduce myself."

The Fark draft discussion thread has had a lot of gold since Tebow got drafted

edit- regarding who Detroit might've been trying to jump ahead of by trading up to get Best.

Possibly anyone who saw he was available overnight and traded with St Louis for the top pick in round 2.

Sounds like the Vikings picked up the second pick in the 4th and a late-round pick to move back four spots. I'm on board.

They could even still take Clausen at 34 if he's still there.

edit: Fuck ESPN is terrible. The Vikings moved back four spots and swapped 4ths with the Lions, essentially moving up 28 spots in the 4th. Obviously I'm not as happy with that trade, but it seems fine.

I'm very cautious about the pick. Best has been beat up, one good hit and he's going to be done. I don't trust the pick at all.

Did anyone hear what the Lions gave up to move up? I hope to god we still have our 2nd rounder.
