We've set up base at Alcatraz Island. We have a few "civilian" NPCs, retired PCs, and Cassandra living there. The group splits up and goes on individual misisons, then regroups there afterward.
You could just say that Rel has been chilling at the base for this round of missions.

After everyone's first mission, we ended up meeting up at the raider camp that Dusty's group had established. During the Act I finale, we were getting our asses kicked by a dude being mind-controlled by the big bad guys, and blew a bunch of RAD to teleport everything away. Cassandra guided the teleportation to Alcatraz, where we set up.
Missions are basically the same as an "adventure" in other tabletop games. A moderate length section of plot which contains a hook, some story goings-on, then a resolution.
How it's currently been going is DE?AD will give us several mission hooks, the players will split their characters up depending on which one they find the most appealing, and then the missions are tackled by those groups. The seperate missions tend to get resolved around the same time, so the groups meet up again, get a new series of missions, and split up again into the same, or different, groups.
At the moment, the seperate missions are mostly at their climax or ending, [The Bro's Rug] is confronting the mutant tyrantess, [Dan, Interrupted] is fighting a swarm of enemies, [Cecil Reloaded] has completed their objective and are traveling to the home base, and in [The Deluge] Makali has succeeded in wrestling control of a settlement from its leader and is resting.
This is good for folks who want to join, because as soon as this round of missions is wrapped up, a new set of missions will begin and it will be an ideal time to join in.
If you wanted to catch up a bit on what's been happening recently, I've been trying to keep some google docs updated with the in-character posts of these threads, you can find those here.
Edit: The "combo" and "temp" entries are going to have the in-between-missions sections that will probably give the best idea of what's been going down.
Also just to fill you in, the bad guys are some kind of extradimensional aliens called Black Plastics, Carbosillicates, or Archangels. They're all the same type of creature that Cassandra is, but stronger. They're trying to harvest humanity's "subneural networks" to gain the abilities of imagination and free thought.
