This HTML5 paint program also "works" however since the iPhone OS doesn't really mimic the mouse cursor it doesn't work very well. The iPad Safari browser was so much more capable than the iPhone's in just the few minutes I spent testing the device.

Man I am in a good mood today. It's weird because I had such a terrible night last night after R. fell asleep and I was there chewing myself apart, but today I feel great!
Hopefully it will be a really busy night tonight at work, with the bare minimum of B&Ts!
I'm starting to see Apple's maneuver on Flash partly as a market test. This is complete speculation, but it's almost like they're saying, "We think we have the power to wreck monopolies... let's topple a weak one to test our strength."
If by toppling a monopoly a better alternative comes out of it, it's not a bad thing.
Also, Apple is not in control of the stuff that is replacing flash content; the replacements are open source and community-built.
This is kind of like Linux beating Windows if it happens... and with a big player or three trying to make it happen (even Microsoft has said HTML5 is the future and the only reason they support flash at all is because everyone has it), it has a real chance.

One of the first things I did to test the HTML5 on the iPad was go to Jilion. The video runs inframe! It's fucking amazing!
Yep, but you can also zoom it in fullscreen if you want.
