Background:
As the Day of Black Sun approaches, the Avatar and those who travel with him have left the Earth Kingdom Capital of Ba Sing Se in the hands of the Earth King and his Council of Five in order to go train themselves for the coming battle. Unknown to them, the Fire Nation Princess Azula and her followers have learned of the invasion plans and infiltrated the capital in an attempt to stop the attack before it starts. The city of Ba Sing Se must not fall in order for the Earth Kingdom to be able to rally it's army in time to deal the Fire Nation it's death blow.
This is a Phalla, the Penny Arcade Forum's version of Mafia/Are You A Werewolf. It is a traditional phalla, the village versus the mafia. Few if any complex roles are involved.
Rules:
Standard rules (found in the Sign-up Thread ) apply.
No sharing of host-provided PMs via screenshots and direct quotation, no anonymous communication, no communication with the dead.
Vote Close
Each day will end at 8PM EDT / 5PM PDT / 1AM BST / 10AM EAST. Any actions or votes submitted up until X:59 will count, whereas those taken on or after X:00 will not. Please do not submit any actions or votes for the following day until narration has been posted.
Voting
Each day, the citizens of Ba Sing Se must nominate a player to be ejected from the city (and the game). Each player may !vote for a player in Bold Red. To rescind a vote, !retract in Bold Lime or simply place another !vote. No player may abstain from voting; if no vote is turned in for a player, the player will have effectively !voted for himself. Ties between two or more players will be resolved as follows: the first player to reach the top number of votes will be the winner. Example: Players A, B, and C have 4, 5, and 6 votes respectively. Immediately before vote close, another player previously voting for C changes his vote to A, bring A, B, and C to 5. After vote close, B dies because he had achieved the vote total (5) before either of the other two. Simultaneous achievement of a tie (The removal of one vote on one player and the addition of one vote to another bringing them to a tie for first place) will result in both top players as well as the person who caused the tie dying.

Inactivity
The city is under attack! All citizens must remain active to fight off the Fire Nation. As such, all players must maintain activity levels of at least two posts and at least one vote. Failure to maintain activity levels will be warned publicly in the night's narration. Failing to maintain activity levels on two nights in a row or on any three nights will result in the player's replacement by a reserve player, if available, or elimination.
Proboards
Any player may create a proboard for any reason. However, all proboards must be linked to the host, who must have full access to all information on the board.
Masons
You may be certain that any players with whom you are masoned at the start of the game will share your win condition for the entirety of the game.

Any questions about the general game rules may be made by highlighting the question in Bold Orange text. Answers will be posted in the thread and collected below. Player-specific inquiries that are not addressed in the general rules may be asked via PM. Please note that there may be mechanics or details which will not be answered and kept hidden until the end of the game.
