    I'd probably have some sympathy for Brazil, but if the Ivory Coast scored twice in four or so minutes I couldn't not enjoy that.

    I think the kaka 2nd yellow was more for being a dick to the ref and mocking ivory coast than anything else.

    kieta moves towards Kaka, Kaka puts an arm up chest height (to keep Kieta from him).

    Arm hits Kieta in the chest softly, Kieta goes down holding his face.
    Kaka sent off.

    Can you guys explain handballs calls to me? My buddy is upset over the Fabiano goal because he says that for as long as he has been watching soccer, unintentional handballs have been called. Stuff I'm reading online points to some sort of "deliberate" clause in the rules. And apparently the refs disagree over it as well?

    Yea that was barely anything in it, Kaka throws up an elbow, but Keita runs into it. I think the main thing that screwed Kaka was the ref saw his minor brain snap a few minutes earlier on his first yellow

    It's no where near the ball, Kaka sees the other guy jogging towards him and instead of letting him pass he puts out his elbow and checks him. And from the way Kaka moves after the impact you can see that there was some force involved.

    Should have been red.

    I'd have to see it but it has to be REALLY unintentional for you to score after handling a ball and have it not called.

    But that's impossible.

    edit: Yeah, an elbow to the chest it looks like. But I wouldn't book him passes solely off that IC guys reaction.
