Also JK Simmons is a treasure in that movie.
*15 minutes literally following a dude's entire commute home*
*Half naked midget jumps out of scientist's room*
*pan and scan of a painting for 10 minutes*
It's me, I'm the most important piece of science fiction cinema ever recommended to you by some twat who jerks off in a mirror.
Yes
Yes Yes
"What's his clearance level?"
"Three."
"Oh! Ok, no biggie."

I agree
was it... because the person was a midget?
yep
I don't remember him being half naked either but it's been a while
Someone might already have said it, but he's currently working on a film adaptation of Joe Haldeman's The Forever War. If you're not familiar with the book, it's a sci-fi novel about a thousand year long war with some aliens; it's an allegory of the Vietnam War. Allegorical sci-fi is kind of right up Scott's alley, so I'm excited about it. Tentatively.
Tony, though I haven't heard any actual news in a while.
Better? I dunno. That's pretty subjective.
More complete? Absolutely.
Still, debating over which of those two films is better is a bit like arguing over varieties of deep-fried cheese.
but it's fairly clear why there are other people on the ship
and why a midget, just a regular cinema trick to show you something odd so it leaves a larger impression on you
He is excellent.
Holy. Shit.
That's an amazing book, that movie could be so good.

You didn't hear about it?
I remember mentions of them wanting to do big epic Lord of the Rings-style battles between the gangs
Also it was going to be in LA instead of NY
It was weird
It depends on your criteria I think; in my mind, Alien is by far the better movie.
Yes. It really, really could. I haven't heard much about it lately, I'm not sure it's even been green-lit. It's definitely no further along than pre-production, so I wouldn't expect to see it for another few years at best.
And they wanted to use, like, actual LA gang members or something, instead of the crazy outlandish ones from before. Which was less cool.
Well, like I said, Alien is definitely more complete. I think I like Blade Runner more because it asks some pretty interesting questions about the human condition. Also, Rutger Hauer was great.
there was one good thing about seeing it
the one good thing
can't wait to see it
Steam
This sounds terrible and makes me sad.
I get the impression that somewhere, some producer is describing this film as "epic, dark and gritty".
The trailer you could have seen on Youtube was the good thing about seeing Eclipse?
Well...if justifying it like that makes you feel better
