ARgh, what's with this new steam interface? There used to be a community tab where you could join groups, where did they decide to hide this?
Push the big community button and you should see some tabs for friends, invites, groups etc. Easiest way to find the group is to type wing-wong into the search box while on your community page and sort by group, it will be the only one listed.
(Also I joined while the group was still open for everyone. So yay, here I am!)

I would like to pause for a moment, to talk about my penis.
My penis is like a toddler. A toddler—who is a perfectly normal size for his age—on a long road trip to what he thinks is Disney World. My penis is excited because he hasn’t been to Disney World in a long, long time, but remembers a time when he used to go every day. So now the penis toddler is constantly fidgeting, whining “Are we there yet? Are we there yet? How about now? Now? How about... now?”
And Disney World is nowhere in sight.
Just sent out invites to everyone on this page, except Farangu and Unlucky who's profiles could not be found (my guess is you didn't change your homepage to match your ID so I'll need a link)

I am curious, what are the benefits of being a part of a Steam group?
And from the videos provided, I think they could have gotten in the neighbourhood of $5-$20 for it, what I like to think of the impulse buy range in prices (from "why the hell not! that's only the price of a junk food meal" to "yeah, that is about equivalent to other less worthy entertainment prices I would spend anyways") Personally, as a poor bastard who needs to make more credit card payments, I have to wait for exceptional sales that put things in that range before I can consider a game entertainment purchase.

Thanks!
Also the benefit is basically just it's easier to arrange co-op.

Well for instance it's easier to organize games with the cool kids (us, that is) because you can see who is playing at the moment.

Group chat makes it easier to organize co op games too. Group announcements can help get games going. The communities are a pretty cool idea that can be a big help to gaming with who you want to game with.
edit: Also, the awesome Steam Community system seems to be spinning its wheels at them moment. I tried to get some invites out, but it's just not working.
It was that somehow, from within the derelict-horror, they had learned a way to see inside an ugly, broken thing... And take away its pain.

"It should have first-person mode! It needs a sniper class! This will be full of noobs and casuals since it's a free game!"
First rule of the steam forums: never actually look at the steam forums.
Also, can I get an invite to the AS group? Steam name is Cablecarrier.
Edit: It might help if I post a link to my profile. http://steamcommunity.com/id/cablecarrier
They're both glimpses into a horrible world that're likely to shave a good 50 points off your IQ
Anyway all the sane people with opinions that actually matter think that this is an awesome idea! ...right?
EDIT: That was FAST! Thanks
I've invited you two.
