    So, I take it I'm the only one in the camp that finds cheering over troll maiming (regardless of which troll) to be more off-putting than the maiming itself?

    There's nothing wrong with rooting for characters to be dismembered or killed. It's a funny comic! Not serious business. And trolls are murderous backstabbers by nature, what appear sociopathic to us is just day-to-day troll shenanigans.

    You know, we're seeing characters "rendered in a more symbolic fashion" less often now. I wonder if Hussie has gotten more comfortable with the sort-of-halfway-hero mode. I wouldn't mind seeing the kids' story drawn the same way.

    I don't mind the lo-fi, armless representations, but I don't think it contributes anything to MSPA's appeal that would be sorely missed (by me, I'm sure some people enjoy it).

    Actually, it's the opposite. He's said that he finds the sprites fiddly and tedious to draw, so if he's in a hurry or feeling lazy, more action panels will pop up.
