    Aargh I tried opening that up with GIMP and it refuses to look at the layers without going EVERYTHING IS BLACK LIVE WITH IT.

    Making it transparent is complicated because of the blur effects. I'm going through frame by frame deleting the backgrounds but it will probably look junky.

    there are a couple of odd frames that are suppose to blur to white, but it looks alright

    need to fix the timing on it though

    There probably is, but I'm new to animated GIFs with Photoshop as well.

    fyi you can use file>import>video frames to layers

    it will import gifs with frames as distinct layers

    you need to type in * and press enter when searching for files, it won't display gifs otherwise
