I'd still be blaming him. Entirely. It would be his own fault for getting that stupidly drunk.
If he was of legal drinking age, who would you blame Eddy? Two years isn't that big of a difference. If he had of been 18, and he drank himself till he was hospitalized, who would they send the bill to then?
Well, 21 here...
I feel so sorry for you guys.
I'm torn... mostly because I'm almost 30, so it's irrelevant, but I'm not sure if the correct answer is "if you're old enough to join the military and die for your country, you're old enough to drink a beer" or if a lower drinking age would reduce the incentive for kids to drink themselves stupid or if kids aren't mature enough to handle the responsibility until at least 21, and I'd argue 25 these days.

The legal drinking age has astoundingly little to do with how old you have to be to drink.
It's entirely different than suicidal, kids these days are terminally hedonistic. They don't understand the consequences of their actions and they don't care. Social pressures and short term enjoyment are the most pressing matters in their lives.
That's pretty much kids since forever.
stuff like this, though, I have trouble relating to. I'm trying to think of an analogy from my youth and I'm coming up blank.
come on kids, be irresponsible in more responsible ways
That's because you were boring, not because kids are any wackier.

It would suck to not be able to go to a liqour store and just pick up a 6 pack whenever I want or to be able to go to the pub after a week of classes are done with uni friends. :P

As a strong supporter of Darwinism, I tend to look at binge drinking as natural selection in action.

The people intelligent enough to survive still have to step over the bloated, alcohol-filled corpses. Let's try and save everyone to avoid the inconvenience.

The really smart people use this time to draw shit on the passed out drunk people's faces.

A bloated burning alcohol filled corpse burns nicely and could serve as a nice source of energy. I'm a green malcontent.
I forgot how terrible CAD and Dominic Deegan were. There needs to be another really horrible webcomic in order to form a shitty webcomic trinity.
I'm guessing you mean 'really horrible yet bizarrely popular' webcomic
I think the hatedom for both comics is greater than the actual fandom. There are a lot of great hate art for both of them.
Achewood is more of a "I don't get it" sort of thing with a lot of actually differing opinions on it from sane people. Dominic Deegan and CAD, not so much. I don't believe it has as much of a hate base as CAD and Deegan.
Also I love how, apparently unintentionally, dumb jock game store employee is the most identifiable-with and compassionate character in the entire comic.

I always liked the penguin
It too. Again, a character the author has designed for readers to hate becomes an ever so slight redeeming feature.
If the Emperor was around right now he'd be muttering something about failure being complete.

It is eerie how much this aligns with what I was just thinking
We need to compile a list of fundamental laws of D&D behaviour. For example:
1) If business cards are mentioned, someone must post the business card scene from American Psycho and someone else must post the Tobias Funke business card.
2) If CAD is mentioned, someone must post the miscarriage comic.
