I have a REI chair just like this that I was considering bringing as well. My back and bum just cannot handle sitting on concrete for hours. I may get dirty looks, but at least I won't be in anyone's way. Nothing stops them from bringing their own.

As for entertainment, I'll have my DS, UNO cards, a book, likely Pathfinder Tales: Prince of Wolves, and some misc RPG books.

Oh and headphones, as my sincere hope that PAX will actually have better trailer reels will most likely be averted. So sick of seeing the same reel played before every panel I go to. And if they play The Old Republic: Hope trailer in the line room every single time like they did with the Jedi Temple trailer, I'll likely wail and scream. They are good trailers, but overkill is overkill.

Yeah, I think this year I'm finally going to be bringing a foldup chair similar to that one.

My concern with a fold up chair is what to do with it while I'm not sitting down? That's why I thought an inflatable pad would be better because I could just deflate it and stick it in my backpack when I need to get up.

Mine folds down into an 18" tube, comes with a nylon case with long straps and weighs under 2 lbs. It'll just fit in my back pack.

I am bringing the heavy duty version of the same thing Savageheart is bringing..easy to slide when moving in line as needed. easy to pack up. should work perfectly for all around the Con.
