Hell I'd say the rebel ships from star wars look better.

Uriel ze link, she does not work.
I kind of like the swoopy 'wings' of the Scimitar battle cruiser, though. I'm just holding out for the spaceships that flat out look like birds, I think.

Aha, Warhammer ships.
Yar, it's pretty cool.
I like the Vorlon Planet Killer, if only because it's usually half the size of the planets it's blowing up, is biological tech, and is vaguely reminiscent of Cthulhu.
Though the term "zweihaender" ('two hands') is the most commonly used today, and is sometimes used by experts, it is virtually unattested until the 20th century. In period, it was mostly called "beidenhaender" ('both hands').
Hardly any examples meant for actual use have survived, and those that have are in terrible condition, so most on display are actually what modern scholars call "bearing swords", a sword designed to be carried in parade. Not only were these swords much more ornate than their plain, utilitarian counterparts (they were favored by mercenaries, after all, and pretty much completely unused by the nobility), but since practicality wasn't an issue, they do not include the weight-saving features found on virtually any steel sword over about eighteen inches in length. This lead to the common belief that these swords typically weighed around 30-40 pounds, while the heaviest examples meant for use are estimated at around twelve pounds at most, before loss of material to wear, rust, and other damage.

swords are so cool. my grandpa found a civil war cavalry sabre in the attic of his wrecking yard recently, with the manufacturer's name and the name of the officer who kept it on the blade! a parade sword with scabbard was also found. it was neat.
Hey Neli, I like the shape of that second sword a lot. It sort of reminds me of a gladius.
coo'
it was made by a Swede I think.
Here's a site with a lot of well crafted swords from around the world. If you click around a bit you should be able to find the guy who made it and the swords details if you are into stuff like that

Unfortunately the photo doesn't show how the skin shifts and morphs. Though it's more like bioTECH, than living ship, if that makes any sense.
Still one of the coolest things about Babylon 5, though, IMHO.
