Beetle's goggle configuration using sense variable to get close to the GGA chemical:
* Detect 2 (visual; presence or absence of GGA at -1 per 10 feet modifier)
* Counters Concealment 2 (screw you walls)
* Extended 1 (extends sense range, -1 per 100 feet instead of 10)
When Beetle is "Zeroing In" on the chemical and he needs something a bit better to pinpoint its location:
* Detect 2 (visual; presence or absence of GGA at -1 per 10 feet modifier)
* Counters Concealment 2 (screw you walls)
* Acute 1 (visual; beetle's GGA-detection can distinguish finer details)
If it's too late and he needs to figure out who has ingested the stuff already...

* Extended 2 (extends sense range, -1 per 1000 feet instead of 10)

Horseshoe: I'm gonna call it Investigation (it would be waaaay too many Perception checks to make your way up the Gotham Metro) -- since you're not going to spend hours covering the entire area, I'd call that -2, with a +2 because you can cut out a lot of time by being able to see through walls and clothes and stuff.
