[MOBA DOBA] League of Legends, the Legend of the Leagues

League of Legends is a DoTA (Defense of the Ancients) style game made by some of the people that worked on DoTA Allstars. It's free to play; but, includes augmentations that you can buy with real money or in-game points.

Get on the G&T vent to play with us (list at bottom), the vent info is stickied at the top of the forum.

There's a ton of info on the game, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. So, check out:
leagueoflengends.com, the game database provided by Riot (who make the game).
leaguecraft.com, there are a lot of fan sites out there with general information and builds. This is just one; and, it's kinda slow as shit. Regardless of where you look for builds keep in mind, most of them make assumptions that are not clearly conveyed and there are a lot that are just plain bad. Tread lightly.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Malz doesn't need to be able to control his voidlings, the AI works fine once you know how it functions. If he could control them he'd have the best laning phase in the game by an incredibly huge margin.

You may be able to jungle, but you won't be in nearly as good a shape as you could be.

Also, some others (Amumu and Fiddles come to mind) might have more issues. I know I was certainly not too impressed by Amumu jungling from level 1 when stuck with T1s.

The general rule of thumb has been:

Red: Armor or Magic penetration
Yellow: Dodge or mp5/level
Blue: Cooldown or mp5/level
Quints: Movespeed or health

With some variation depending on whatever character you are playing. (Obviously this is leaving out energy characters and whatnot)

Nasus is decent at jungling, not the fastest but he's not bad at all.

Plus he can get some nice early ganks by using his slow from a distance and then hitting dudes using the lizard buff after closing the distance.
