I agree that the lack of acting chops was killing it. I can't blame what I assume to be regular dudes for not being good actors, but they should really work on it.

The video production wasn't too good with the host. Too much shadow over half his face. Need brighter light source and not all on one side. Try to at least reflect it on the other side of his face. A white sheet off camera on the other side might do the trick.

I get what these guys are after, but it's missing the mark.

Was way better than the last one. I have high hopes for the next one.

well i see the bad acting to be on purpose, because it's a parody of 90's TV. but tim & eric awesome show does the same thing and I hate that show. so I'll see how good or bad they are if they ever do a skirt that doesn't call for bad acting

This was okay, but it seems like "ironically bad" has pretty much become the go-to shtick for the entire Internet. I think it might be time for something else.

Not to say that it can't be done - I think it's fair to say a lot of what Kris and Scott do could fall in this category - but it helps if you can tell that there's some really solid talent underlying the goofy facade.

The thing about doing "ironically bad" is that you have to be well skilled in the art, you can't just be like hurr hurr we're bad this is the joke.

Kind of like how you have to be an amazingly skilled acrobat to pretend that you're falling all the time. Parody involves more skill than doing the thing correctly.

What! That was the worst part. This video was much better than the last one, but still bad. The getting shot part was just horrible, his reaction was not only delayed, but stupid.

Plus, how did they totally miss that the fork in his hand disappears from the wide shot to the close up at the end? And couldn't they have at least put a fake earpiece in? It looked at first like he was trying to communicate telepathically.

I did like the very end with the kid. They must have blown their entire budget and time on those lightning bolts.

I had the same reaction to his post. Then I checked his profile and noticed that he just registered today. This was his first post, and he's since made 7 others, all in Duke Nukem Forever threads talking about how awesome it's going to be.

Didn't really dig this one. After hearing Rocco yell "My dick is gone!" when hit in the crotch with a fluorescent light, him getting shot three times in the stomach doesn't do it for me.
