I was downloading this game and its free DLC without getting the demo (cause i liked the first one) yesterday. Some friends came over just as it finished and we decided to give it a quick try before doing a movie. I had never played Deathspank 1 multiplayer before, so when he picked Steve as player two neither of us were ready for this strange man riding a pig, shooting rainbows and shouting his name at different pitches depending on what button you pressed.

I think I have explained enough already that if you liked the first one, its more of the same craziness.

I got a free thong with the game's name on it at PAX.

I dont even have a console that I can play it on yet but that is the type of marketing that sticks with a person. So unique I'll have to try it when I can sometime.

Its the second game in its series, you should get the demo for both really, they are pretty great.

I liked the first one, but I'm not really interested in more of the (exact) same. At least not now. This is kind of a dangerous stunt for the Hothead guys.

It's not a reskin - it's a whole new campaign (new environments, enemies, "story" et cetera) with a bit more emphasis on (light) puzzles, and is apparently 150% the size of the original. So far I'm enjoying it - DeathSpank is just... a pleasurable game. It demands little, but is very enjoyable.

Like Coffee Crisp, it makes a nice, light snack.

Yeah its mostly just more of the same, maybe a little bit harder then the first...I'm having to use my ranged weapon alot more and the leveling seems a bit slower. But its more of the same monkey island type of humor so I like it.
