Sufjan Stevens (pronounced /ˈsuːfjɑːn/ SOOF-yahn; born July 1, 1975) is an American singer-songwriter and musician born in Detroit, Michigan. Stevens first began releasing his music on the Asthmatic Kitty label, which he formed with his stepfather, beginning with the 2000 release A Sun Came. He is best known for his 2005 album Illinois, which hit number one in the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, and for the song "Chicago".
Stevens has released albums of varying styles, from the electronica of Enjoy Your Rabbit and the lo-fi folk of Seven Swans to the symphonic instrumentation of Illinois and Christmas-themed Songs for Christmas. Stevens makes use of a variety of instruments, often playing many of them himself on the same track,[2] and writes music in various time signatures. He is considered part of the folk revival in indie pop, but his influences are very broad. His music has been likened to electronica[3] and aesthetically compared to the minimalism of Steve Reich.[4]
Seriously though, I can't watch that show. Sugar is too much of a twat.
I watch it for the screw ups. Like when they used the wrong ingredient in their soap and went horribly overbudget. The way they reacted when they found out was priceless.

i never am like "hey it is sufjan stevens time!" but when my roommates put it on i am like "awwww yissss sufjan stevens time"
So netflix put "The End of Time" up on instant and
well lets just say I was disappointed
It was good up to the over-long goodbyes to everyone he's met during his tenure. Saying goodbye to Wilf, Donna (sort of) and Rose would have been enough.

The best one was when they had to sell coffee to people going to work and entirely failed because the people are pathetic and should have been drowned at birth.

I was more weirded out by the bar scene with harkness
Power metal is really good to run to. Songs about triumphing in the face of overly-wrought vaguely fantasy like adversity put me in just the right mood for that.

Also, I was born in Chicago and grew up in Detroit, so he's my people.

neon
why do you hurt me
HIYOOOOOOOOOOOO
I watch it for the egos and their subsequent deflation.
Like, Donald Trump is British?!
WHY IS EVERYTHING BRITISH?!
No Chanus. You are the British.
And then Chanus used the letter 'u' in words like colour, armour and honour.
Yeah, we have the Apprentice. I don't think it's as overblown as Trumpprentice is, though. Over five series there's only been two double firings.
I swear, being an American and watching television sometimes feels like "SIMPSONS DID IT!" except with the UK.
But like a wise man once said, "Only two great things ever came out of England: The Rolling Stones and America!"
well lets just say I was disappointed
Yeah, we do love firing people.... peouple...

haha, no, although one of the two people involved has played keys and produced some metal.
@Echo: I don't like FLA as much as Delerium, so I tend to think of that as the side project. :P

Was that like end of Return of the King bad? :P

Nope. That's just Rhys Fulber. :P
