So hey, Glee is kind of awesome. With bogey's approval, lets have a thread!



if you've been living under a rock for the past year and don't know, glee is a musical dramedy in its second season about a show choir from lima, ohio.

it stars a bunch of talented kids and feature songs that are auto-tuned to death

it has grossly melo-dramatic moments that make you cringe

characters that can be annoying as hell doing the dumbest things

and unrealistic storylines full of inconsistencies

and yet

it is awesome

Last night's episode, duets, was ridiculously good and didn't really have too many irritating moments as the past episodes from this season

also, it showed hot lady-on-lady makeouts and sexy dude in the showers

sometimes I start caring a little too much about the plot and I enjoy myself less because it's often no good but then I relax and I like it again

Are the characters still talking about winning Nationals, even though they have yet to win the competition set in their own county? Also, I remember Will saying that the reason they lost last time was because they only had 12 members instead of a giant wall of sound. Are they at more than 12 members now?

also, they mentioned something about puck being in juvie now. hope that isn't a permanent thing rumor is that him releasing an album (out today!) violated some deal so they wrote him off the next few episodes. that sucks, because Puck is the dreamiest

The girl on girl scene should have been hot but instead it felt sort of awkward.

Maybe Will should, you know, have a set list planned out already and spend every rehearsal having them go over it again and again. Or at least take out the part of every Glee rehearsal where the students announce their personal drama and how it relates to the solos of the week, which they will not actually be using in any performance and are really just wasting their time

I just think of Glee as a live action disney show for the most part. The characters can break into perfect song and dance at a moment's notice.

You know in terms of storyline this episode was probably the strongest of the season. The songs were a bit of a downer though.

Also why is Artie that upset it's not like he didn't know he was about to get laid.

Yes fiz but that is why glee club is for losers and why the tv show is good.

I say waaaah poor artie because his character is terrible and he has such a good voice but rarely gets to sing.

Also, while Finn is a mediocre singer and dancer, I am super glad he's the lead male guy on the show. He's the goddamn best.

And I prefer "dopey nice guy" to "jerk with a heart of gold becomes the hero" like if they gave the lead to puck.

artie was kind of a dick to tina last season, and kind of a mean dick to brittany this episode. brittany looked so lonely at the end

The thing to keep in mind is that it doesn't matter if you are gay, or black, or even in a wheelchair.

Fiz do you even still watch this show

I do not! Stopped watching about 10 minutes into the season 2 premiere. I might tune in to catch the episodes where they actually do the vocal competitions, since that is usually when they actually sing together as a choir. I like when choirs sing as a choir.

Kurt's dad is the only consistent character in the show. Besides Santana. Who is just consistently a bitch.
