My mom ruined this episode for me. I DVR it, because I have a night class. I came home and told her I need the tv after her show is done, so I can watch it, and check to make sure it recorded. She then decided to shout out the pretty major spoiler of the episode, for no reason at all.
I think that is her way of telling me to move out.
I found it hilarious that Kurt basically saw the all-boys school as some sort of magical gay paradise, complete with a bunch of dudes jamming out to Katy Perry. Oh, and I'm disappointed that Brittany had no more Lady and the Tramp moves to try out at Breadsticks.

This is the precise truth. There is nothing inaccurate about this estimation.
This is what happens when episodes are written by Brad Falchuk, and not by those other two goons. If they'd leave the show to him, we'd get consistent characterization and realistic continuity instead of the ridiculous "repeat one word 600 times in the episode" and shitty out-of-character behavior of
Ian Brennan and the constant barrage of weak-plot themed episodes of Ryan Murphy.
Also goddamn these kids can take mediocre to bad songs and turn them into gold. Can't wait for the Christmas album.

Darren Criss is always the best. Is he on next week too?

Teenage Dream was great
one love was a straight cover
the mash-ups were pretty bad as mashups. they didn't work well together, but they were decent enough as separate songs
totally saw the bully thing coming

I wonder if more people were surprised by or saw the bully thing coming? I did not see it coming at all.
i did because it was a total cop-out
doing "he's bullying you because he's secretly gay", something that is maybe true 5% of the time, instead of addressing kids being raised with ignorance and hate (be it from religion or whatever), which is true 95% of the time, because that would actually offend someone
it's like they wanted to address gay bullying because it's all in the press but didn't want to actually do anything because it could affect their sponsors and shit

Yeah as soon as Kurt went after him and ended up in the locker I was all "they gunna kiss"
Called big gay buddy. I was really suprised at the quality of teenage dream, then I found out that group is a real group they just brought on to perform.
One thing that really really bothered me was schuster's pity smooch on coach beiste. It was kinda condescending, and really, will is such a man whore who's made out with every female teacher on the show. Looking back on it, I guess you could see it as an act of kindness and just helping her get over the whole never been kissed. But really, it hurts like hell to find out you're a pity whatever
oh yeah, i know. i've given up on glee showing any sort of consistency or having a storyline that is completely satisfying, i'm just in it for the spectacle. and i fully expect what happened last episode to be brushed aside and forgotten by next week.
My wife and I thought that the prep school kid was going to kiss Kurt for his first and then we realized the censors probably wouldn't allow that many guy-guy kisses on an 8 o'clock show. Also Schuster's totally a dick for the kiss; "Oh nobody will kiss you? Here I will, since that's obviously what you want."

I totally called the gay thing the first time the bully shoved him, mainly because I didn't think we'd seen that character before and they focused on him too much for it not to mean something. I'm proud of myself because I never see this shit coming.

that bully's one of the main slushiers, along with the black football player
So if the TWOP recap thing is accurate, Will actually saw Kurt getting bullied by the jocks. And then, instead of actually doing something like getting the jocks expelled for their continued violence against other students, he makes it up to Kurt by having the guys sing a lady song!

Yeah I noticed that two Will shows up just as the bullies get their slam on and is all "hey Kurt, how is it not bring cool"
Also was it ever expanded in any other episode that Artie was skill keen for Brittany?
Wow Kurt, you're bleeding a lot. Don't get any on my new shirt it is relevant to my solo assignment for you this week. Bye~

But they mentioned it like it was a proper thing they could have just gone, I still have feelings for her, bug they decided to put it into the recap like it was something we already knew.
Wait, why would a substitute teacher be handling an extracurricular activity? This glee club is supposed to be an after-school program (although WHEN the club is held shifts from episode to episode), so if Will can't be there they'd just not have practice that day. If he has somebody standing in for him the club runs the risk of actually learning something about choral music.

also awesome is the random guy next to kurt just jammin out
Probably because it wasn't written by Ian Brennan and didn't focus exclusively on Rachel+Finn. IMAGINE THAT.
I will echo the sentiments of all of my gay friends and say: that is the gayest thing I have ever seen.
And I have seen a lot of gay things. You know. Being gay.

Teenage Dream was incredible.
wondering if they'll bring her back for the Hipsters. Don't think she ever finished her degree!
I was ready to quit and delete this shit from my DVR after Rocky Horror, and then they pull out one of the best episodes they've ever done?
that shit isn't fair
Teenage Dream was goddamn amazing
