    We are really close to jumping. I may use my OPG power on my turn to speed up game.

    I tend to want to wait until just after sleeper phase for cain's OPG, so we can get right to new caprica.

    Up to you, of course- just plesase jump when we have little to no jump prep built up, please!

    That is also a good idea. Will keep that in mind.

    I agree, but I expected Zarek to try harder. Baltar having a higher chance of being a cylon is a good point, but this early it's suspicious taking power.

    Boomer finishes the weapons inspection in the Armory. Precious few of the heavy weapons are available, so any boarding parties will be difficult to take down. She organizes a recon mission, but will have to occupy her time until it returns.

    I wait for XO. Scout destination first and then use OPG.

    This wouldn't be a bad time to use your OPG, actually. Saves us quite a bit in the way of damaged vipers and XOs out of sickbay. If boomer has a scout and a maximum firepower, though, an XO is probably the better option.

    I'd prefer for us to scout the distance and get at least a 2 on top before Cain uses her OPG.

    I can scout and take out 1 raider with an XO.

    This should injury/ destroy Basestar. Don't need it launching more ships.
    XO me when you need scout and then instant jump.

    Cain orders Pegasus to unload on the basestar. The crew has clearly learned something about Cylon technology since the last time, as a massive burst of concentrated fire tears the basestar to pieces. 1d8 = 7 - Double damage: Structural Damage, Critical Hit. Basestar destroyed!

    Cheering at the wreckage of the Cylon ship, the new DRADIS contacts almost go unnoticed. It looks like the tactical strike was only the first wave.


    Cylon Swarm

    1. Activate basestars
    2. Setup:
    1 basestar 5 raiders at 9 o'clock
    1 heavy raider at 11 o'clock
    1 civilian at 3 o'clock
    1 viper 1 civilian at 5 o'clock
    1 viper 1 civilian at 7 o'clock
    3. Special Rule - Massive Deployment: Keep this card in play until the fleet jumps. Each time a basestar launches raiders or heavy raiders, it launches 1 additional ship of the same type.
