League of Legends is a DoTA (Defense of the Ancients) style game made by some of the people that worked on DoTA Allstars. It's free to play; but, includes augmentations that you can buy with real money or in-game points.

Get on the G&T vent to play with us (list at bottom), the vent info is stickied at the top of the forum.

There's a ton of info on the game, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. So, check out:
leagueoflegends.com, the game database provided by Riot (who make the game).
leaguecraft.com, there are a lot of fan sites out there with general information and builds. This is just one; and, it's kinda slow as shit. Regardless of where you look for builds keep in mind, most of them make assumptions that are not clearly conveyed and there are a lot that are just plain bad. Tread lightly.
KillerCodeMonkey's wiki, add your brilliant shit to it.
Game mechanic shit, stuff like how attacks and magic and fuck work.
Rune break-dancing, good info about what runes you should buy.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to make Gragas not suck endgame? I own him and used to use him a lot, but eventually stopped because I felt like I just wasn't contributing as much as I could with other characters.

Part of it is just strategy (I'm not bodyslamming every chance I get like I should be), but he's really fun and I want to use him well.

I mean, making him as beefy and undesirable as possible and throwing like a rylai's on him and just constantly bodyslamming and chasing down people and ruining their hopes of escaping is what I do. If he's beefy enough late game you just rarely die (unless you go up against some fast attack madred's, but even when they're probably targeting the wrong hero).

Though I haven't played him after the bodyslam cooldown nerf.

He can't nonstop bodyslam anymore. He does, however, have the attack speed debuff on his q now, which makes laning fun and easy.

I think I'm going to try and build a damage Malphite for lols, his W armor/damage buff when paired with more damage items seems like it could get hilarious, especially in combo with crits.

It works okay, but the issue I've found with him is that your team needs to know you're doing this so that a real tank and a backup gets picked in addition to Malphite. If you build carry Malphite, he's going to get blown up if he's looked at funny.

Also, Leblanc still isn't in the picture wall in the OP by the way.

I've found that's a good recipe for losing all your lanes before you're level 4 in the jungle and are actually able to do something about it. (God forbid you're Amumu 'cause you still can't at 4)

so unfortunately true. but even if i do lane, i can't hold more than 1. i just don't run into another jungler more than once every ten games.

on the other hand, i did jungle sion last night, i didn't do awesome, but the rest of my team picked up the slack.
