Someone as all "Oh the queen has a facebook now, looks like everyone is getting on that! I heard that this is why we had such a higher turnout of younger voters...you know like...eighteen year olds to like Arch's age, because politicians are more likely to reach out through things like facebook."
Lab manager "well they may have voted but I don't know if they were informed enough about the world to really vote intelligently"
also when my office was discussing politics (lightly) the old conservative lab manager insinuated that when I voted I didn't know enough about the world to make an informed decision
SIGH
This is a pretty standard fallback position when you out outmanoeuver someone in hard facts I find.
I think its probably a human fallacy - I'm guilty of it at times, though I'm trying to get better: the problem is how are you supposed to deal with someone who clearly has a data advantage in an argument - there's no reason to trust their presentation of information, doubly so when they don't know sources.
EDIT: Of course after the election here Arch it was super-ironic that my brother was ranting about the problem of young people voting Labor or Green when they clearly didn't know enough to do so. This was funny though, because both I and his girlfriend voted Greens/Labor.

I'm very upset with your title because it seems I have misunderstood the meaning of the phrase.
I thought it was imploring me to have sexual intercourse with females while or even, in order to acquire currency.
I think that's a superior state of being to what you have described there.
