Excellent. I've been doing the Freeside stuff just now... though I can't remember where he said to find a Sexbot and it didn't update in my Quest journal.
The sexbot is in Cerulean Robotics, which is around past the abandoned train station all the way to the west. It looks like a dead end sort of but there is a path south of there through the rubble that leads to a little corner of the map where the entrance is.
Also I just finished Dead Money last night, and am I ever supposed to get the stuff I was carrying when I first started it back? I really don't wanna reload a save a couple hours back but I will for my All American.
if youve started the kings quest that leads to pacer running off and getting into a fight, remember that area, in the back there's some train tracks and a path that eventually leads to a U shaped building which is cerulean robotics
I really want to like Dead Money but there are some baffling design decisions so far
The radios-make-you-explode gimmick feels incredibly forced and in practise it barely does anything to the gameplay. Wandering around a gloomy mazelike villa and trying to find specific map markers when the very air kills you got really old
And I'm already sick of the Ghosts, although I do like the "gib them or they get back up" stuff
But the characters are intriguing and the story is as good as ever, so I shall see how things change once I get in the casino proper
I picked up Dead Money and played through it this weekend. I enjoyed most of it. I felt that the map was a bit confusing but the environment, storyline and characters were all superb. It was pretty good. I liked how some of it tied into your events in the Mojave.
When I got back to the Mojave, I started doing companion quests that I didn't do the first time around.
Since I'm at the House Always Wins...like, 8 or something. The very last one. I can't do Veronica's quest can I? I wiped out the Hidden Bunker so I'm screwed.
I've been dragging my feet with the Great Khan stuff, I also need to start and finish the stuff at Camp Forlorn Hope, and about a half a dozen other hubs
game takes a while!

Finally finished with around 110 hours
The only thing I regret is not spending more time with Arcade Ganon
But everything else went swell
I don't think I'll do a whole play through again
I don't really feel the need to finish the game's alternate storylines
Did you finish Arcade's entire quest line? It's pretty long. Might be "shorter" than Veronica's to actually finish, but I always get the impression that the amount of dialogue is nearly equal.

No, that's why I feel bad about it
Him and Raul kind of got short shrift
Meanwhile
Do you play the same character in Dead Money as New Vegas?

I am the wrong person to ask that... I had three characters at 30 before Dead Money. I used the non-survival-mode male specced primarily in guns, lockpick, and speech (AKA: easy mode) for my first DM playthrough.
Raul was indeed too damn short.
Anyway, back to Arcade: you really, really should play through his character quest. Look up the triggers on the wikia of you're short on time, because even with spoilers it's still really cool.
Edit: Or did I read your response wrong and you did get through For Auld Lang Syne?
Today we’re excited to shed light on New Vegas’ upcoming game add-ons: Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road.
As a bonus, we’ve got the first officially released screenshot for Honest Hearts. This DLC will be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC in two weeks (May 17th), and users should now be able to grab the proper game update to play the content.
Honest Hearts™, Old World Blues™ and Lonesome Road™ will further expand upon Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas takes all the action, humor and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.
Available on May 17, Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah’s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.
In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave’s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You’ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.
Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier’s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job –a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.

Did anyone else have the bug I got with Dead Money where the game just crashes when you try and leave at the end of the DLC?
Because that sucked. It's fixed now, but jesus, it really says something about Obsidian's bug testing when they did not notice that.
Regardless, I'm still gonna end up getting these 3 new DLCs, because the writing is so damn good. I thought the gameplay in Dead Money was boring and unfun, but the writing was pretty damned good.
Anyway, I didn't get that bug thankfully. I liked the gameplay up until you get into the casino, and after that it was pretty much just the story that got me through.
Nah. the first one (the brotherhood of steel one, can't remember the name) didn't do this at all (unless I'm misremembering). Point lookout allowed you to move back and forth between the new area (which was pretty big anyway) and the original map. The pitt, anchorage and mothership zeta did this and out of those 3 I'd only say the Pitt was actually any good.
I don't really care that much about the actual setup of the DLCs because I do them more for the story than the gameplay
I mean yeah the "you can kill anything you want within 5 miles instantly but someone bonked you on the head and took your stuff" trick is very silly and immersion breaking buuuuuut it's preferable to their other methods of increasing difficulty ("uhh, like a billion hit points each. And five times as many of the things as is sensible").
FO3 DLCs:
Operation Anchorage
Broken Steel
The Pitt
Mothership Zeta
Only operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta were a "take your stuff, do shit, and never come back" type. In the Pitt you got your stuff back relatively early on in, and you got to come and go. Plus you got to see the amazingly beautiful Pittsburgh vistas I loved it so muchhhh.
I'm willing to bet that Honest Hearts, since it takes place in the Mt.Zion national park in Utah, will be returnable to, it feels "Point Lookout-y".
Old World Blues I can't be sure on, I could definitely feel it go either way. But Lonesome Road sounds like a "have all your best shit possible, this road is gonna' murder you" sort of scenario. A survival of "get from point A to point B" kind of thing.

basically expanding the fallout universe in any meaningful way makes me happy, so it would be really hard for the DLCs to be a disappointment (unless there's something super dumb like you being the burned man's half-mudlurk son or similar and even then)
If I had to guess, Lonesome Road is probably the one that starts at the canyon wreckage, and there's a big, unfilled section of map just past it. It could be part of the game area.
Anyway, I didn't get that bug thankfully. I liked the gameplay up until you get into the casino, and after that it was pretty much just the story that got me through.
Was it? Hmm. Either way, Obsidian and Bethesda both have pretty poor reputations for bug testing.
I loved the atmosphere of Dead Money, but augh the ghost people got so tiring. Nice and creepy looking, though.
And yeah, the inside of the casino was tiring. Stupid invincible holograms.
Yeah, we're totally getting jumped and having gear stolen in Honest Hearts. But Caesar's dialogue was so fucking good, I have high hopes for Joshua Graham/Burned Man.

"Each DLC will raise the level cap by 5. So including Dead Money, if you've got them all, you'll have a cap of 50."
He also addressed concerns that the level cap increase might make the game too easy:
"And for you, I have good news. If you’re concerned that the new level cap increases will make the game too easy for you, I've got a couple things to note:
1) Congratulations on being hardcore
2) Old World Blues will offer a new trait (and respec your traits if you've already chosen them) that will allow you to cap your level at 30 (or current level if you’re already over 30).”
Asked whether players will be able to continue playing after the main quest is finished, he again confirmed that the game will still end with the Second Battle of Hoover Dam:
"Unrelated, wanted to note that none of the upcoming DLCs will allow you to play beyond the main quest (for the same reasons noted by the developers prior to the game's release)."

Some of these justifications annoy the hell out of me. Particularly:
"The original hope was that the enemies couldn't simply be headshotted continuously - this is a selfish reason, as I get tired of watching people play like that non-stop (it doesn't feel like they're experimenting with limb-targeting tactics, despite the array of weapons)[...]"
If you want to coax me into playing one way instead of another way, reward me for doing it the way you want, don't just make it impossible to do it the other way.
