[Borderlands] Corrupted Downloadable Content

I've had a handful of problems with this game. For instance the downloadable content is always corrupted no matter how many times I delete them and redownload. Has anyone else had this ball of headaches or am I just a special case? If anyone else had this issue could you please tell me what you did to fix it.
