I've been catching up with the show slowly, I started about the time season 3 started at the very beginning, I'm now on episode 8 of season 3. It's going to be nice to be able to catch these weekly.

I hope nobody from the crew is a final five, because if somebody was then at the time of the cyclon attack there would have been 3 cylons on board the oldest, unarmed, ready to be retired battlestar in the entire fleet.

Never would have thought a remake of BSG would end up being so good, let alone come from the sci-fi channel.
although I have to hand it to sci-fi, they pick up and show reruns of sci-fi series that networks cancel before they have a chance. They've even been known to pick up and carry-on a series and make it a huge success like SG-1. While they still produce really shitty made for tv movies on a continuous basis, MY opinion of them has surely risen in the passed 7 or so years.

Am I the only one that feels like season three is pretty "meh?" It just seems to have turned too much into a soap opera. I mean there are good episodes, like the ones set on New Caprica, and most recent episode, but it seems like for every good bit I have to sit through whiny bitchface Apollo or angry cockwhore Starbuck. At this point all of their scenes are just painful to watch. It doesn't really help that they've made Starbuck into a really unlikable character.
At this point the best part of the show is Gaius Baltar, hands down. I'm more interested in how his story plays out more than anything else.
