humorous and regarding stonecore. We wiped once. On the third boss. Then we all realized how far away we had to be during shatter. So the second try is going great. I switched to combat for the run once the one boss dropped that cool fist weapon and the BoE mace dropped from trash just for the hell of it. I discovered two things in the span of 4 seconds:
1) His enrage is removable by shiving him.
2) If you killing spree during his ground slam you will be one shot
I have a quest in Vash that I can't hand in that I assume leads me to one more chain but I still have something like 130/whatever the achievement is. I think I either missed something or the achievement is too high.
I just checked wowhead about it, apparently both factions are having trouble, getting around 145/150 for horde and 145/160 for Alli so
Do you mean the quest to save the Broken shaman? If so, yeah, same problem here.

Happy: Had this sword drop for me while questing on the Lock and I mailed it to my DK. Now she'll have a nice weapon to start off with after I'm done leveling the Lock.
Humorous: So when doing Arch, whenever I find a treasure I always Survey again in the same spot to set up the next treasure. Well on my last one tonight before logging, all three treasures ended up spawning in the same node.
Holy crap: Deepholm. It's like a botanical garden of Heartblossom and Cinderbloom. At ~2800 and 3600 a pop, I was getting serious experience in there just flying around (whee, tauren druid) ninja picking herbs. When 4-5 herbs are on my minimap at once, something is very, very right.
Holy hell: I have to watch my mana when I heal Looking forward to relearning how to play, though I expect some growing pains. It's been awhile. Bleh
Huh?: Azshara Veil... I check the AH, and prices are set to ludicrous speed. I throw up 5 for 250g. They sold
H... uh... holy anticipation, Batman!: My desktop should (hopefully) be fixed and ready to go tonight. Yay pretty graphics.
Hate: Apparently my hunter doesn't get a Hyjal portal. Thanks game! I really love flying out there on your bullshit flight path that goes fucking AROUND the whole zone and in through winterspring. Or I can fly there myself, but the low flight ceiling in Ashenvale makes it a huge pain in the ass.
They need to alter the rate of nodes in the "mid" zones, namely Deepholme and Uldum. They should have somewhat of a mix of ores and Twilight Highlands should be the straight Elementium/Pyrite zone. But as it currently stands you're lucky if you can find one or two nodes in the entire zones. Compounded with so many people being in Vasjir and Hyjal and half the nodes in those zones being off limits due to so much phasing making them inaccessable; it just makes Obsidium really rare.
Of course it doesn't help that, for BS at least, the rate of ore > usable material for Obsidium is just fucking retarded. Really? Two ore for a bar and then two bars per single folded Obsidium, which needs 3+ per items? How the fuck did this shit clear QA?

Professions were borked for most of the beta, then we had 85 premades with maxed professions so people didn't do much leveling with them. *shrug* But yeah, its kind of dumb, I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same thing they did with enchanting in wotlk where most enchants had the mats almost halved.
Being able to do something doesn't mean you should do it. I didn't queue for that shit at 84 when I had like 30k less hp than I do at 85. Grind out the last level and don't drag 4 other people down.
Not saying it's impossible, but it definitely makes it harder. Case in point went back in and got an 85 shaman and we knocked it down without any deaths. (And I also got a BoE that just pulled in a fast 1k gold on the AH. Gogo selling now when people don't realize things are trash that they'll scoff at in a couple weeks.)
Hate: Went to Uldum at 83 specifically to do the Harrison Jones quests. The quest line bugged out when I turned in the scepter quest inside the Chamber of the Stars and the cutscene that was supposed to show up didn't. I'm apparently stuck in a different phase from Harrison Jones now. Sigh.

Speaking of Harrison Jones, did anyone else laugh when:
Oh shit, the gunpowder ignited! Quickly, jump into these chests and survive the boom.
Then he says he does this all the time.

It strikes me as a colossal oversight that you need to get justice points to buy blue gear to do heroics, but you cannot get justice points unless you kill heroic bosses.

You don't need badge gear to do heroics, though. 329 is below the 333 you can easily get from quests/honored with various reps from 80-85. I hit 85 and had average item level of 331 without buying any badge gear.

Getting into a heroic is not the same as being comfortable in a heroic. I went through a couple tonight and it felt like fucking raid progression. SFK was a nightmare (got it twice on random, didn't get past first boss). Grim Batol we wiped a bunch due to some minor fuckups but managed to down a boss at least. I constantly felt like I was taking in too much damage, the DPS were not doing enough damage, and the healers were going OOM too quickly.
Granted, I was with PUGs, but generally speaking they were PuGs with above average intelligence.
I guess I'll put that in a HATE now: Healers in Cata who are used to the wotlk spamshit. I am not used to wiping because the healer went out of mana by spamming their least efficient heals.

Yeah, it's just because you're grouping with shitty people, trust me. I did a few tonight where the tank bought a bunch of rep gear that wasn't tank gear just to get up to ilvl and we didn't wipe a single time doing 5 different ones. They're fairly challenging, sure, but I think they're tuned very nicely for the requirement. PuGs are the problem, yes they're better than your average PuG right now because they're the people who leveled faster than the retards, or who are a tiny bit dedicated, but you won't even be able to get close pretty soon.
A bad healer will ruin your whole night, I was healing and adjusting to the new paradigm isn't hard. You can't heal everyone to full, I finish nearly every fight with 10% mana left, having used all my cooldowns and everyone except the tank at 30%ish health. Most people don't understand that yet, or won't.

Same with me. I log out and back in and was able to get it done. Cut scene and all.

Meh feels just like wrath then. I remember unless you were with a guild group you almost definitely were wiping on the 2nd + boss.

Well, okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but still.
Yeah, if that's the one I'm thinking of, buggy as hell.
Get there, get to the cutscene no problem. Cutscene eventually pans down to Erunak... and waits. I see the mage that happened to be doing the quest at the same time. He's turning in circles next to Erunak. He's not trapped in the cutscene, but I am. I wait for a good 2 minutes just staring at this mage and Erunak before it finally cuts back to my character and I can play. I notice that my bear-body is now lying dead on the sea floor, and I'm right next to it. Very strange.
So I go to turn in the quest.... and I can see the ? on the minimap, but the orc's not there. I circle the rift, thinking maybe he's in a different spot around it. No dice. After 5 minutes I start to leave, and around when I get to the submarine's crash site, I see a naga swimming at ludicrous speed after me. He grabs me, says "you don't belong here" or something to that effect, and takes me back to the rift area. Suddenly I'm now in a different phase, and I can see the Legionnaire to turn in the quest. Finally.
I love Blizzard's ambition with the new quests and zones, but they've got plenty of bugs to iron out. Ultimately though, I'm still glad they're trying new shit.

I was flying around in Deepholm and saw this dragon with a silver spawn icon. Cool I thinks to myself, but that's weird, he's friendly. And he's mountable?! So I go click him and mount. Once I mount I get the big screen popup that says something along the lines of 'Kill Aeonaxx before his whelps kill you.' Hey this is different, but let's do this!
'You are too far away to attack that target'
'You are too far away to attack that target'
'You are too far away to attack that target'
'You are too far away to attack that target'
Why can't I melee him? I'm a rogue, what am I doing wrong? Whelps spawn, start attacking, I say fuck this, and dismount. He flies off and despawns. I decide to look him up on WoWhead. Turns out I just fucked up an attempt on what is essentially the Time-Lost Proto Drake of Catacalysm. Aeonaxx is a rare spawn that drops a flying mount, and because I dismounted since I couldn't attack, he despawned and now I know that I'll never see him again.
I don't even know if hate is the right word atm so much as depressed.

A friend of mine, who is a rogue, just got the mount yesterday, but the bug is somewhat common. You just got unlucky.
