It's another pay-what-you-want sale from indie developers. Just like the previous bundle, you can also choose to donate to Child's Play and/or Electronic Frontier Foundation; This time, you also have the option to 'tip' the website (Wolfire's, I presume?) who arrange this bundle.
Anyone else unable to actually buy them? Tried a couple of the checkout options and it just refreshes the page with /?error-processor=1 added to the URL.
I feel bad only spending 5-10 dollars on this bundle, but considering I have already bought all of them through other means (Braid on XBLA, Machinarium directly from developer, etc.) with the exception of Cortex Command, I'm really just purchasing another means to play these games (i.e., eventually through Steam).
I'm definitely in for this; Cortex Command has been on my "to get" list for a while. Now to decide whether I like the devs or the EFF more. What's the "Humble Tip" thing? It says that it's a tip to the bundle itself but I don't understand what that means.
In an absolutely unprecedented event in the history of indie game packs, I don't already own any of the games bundled together and thus can buy the entire thing without a twinge of redundancy!
Naturally, I proceeded to buy it twice.
While one is a gift for my brother, the irony of the situation doesn't escape me.
Machinarium is an absolutely wonderful game in every way. It was my favourite game of 2009. Get the bundle, hopefully paying more than one dollar, and play it.
Will these run on weak systems? I have a netbook - it runs Osmos well on Steam but was wondering if this might be a good pack for my little machine.
Machinarium and Braid will run on a netbook, I'd imagine. Haven't tested yet on mine. Cortex Command chokes my Eee PC 1000h due to the physics engine when shit blows up into bits and giblets.
Didn't some silly goose raise a stink last time how everyone buying the games at 5$ or so is only marginally better than a pirate, seeing how their price is normally like 80$?
I wonder if those people factor in the sheer volume they're selling, as I'd imagine the week they run this campaign generates a lot more money per game than normal. I recall reading something by an indie dev regarding Steam sales causing the same effect for them, or something. Unless I imagined that.

Edit: Working now.
I feel like that's not enough.

These games are worth much more than that.
Machinarium is worth at least that.

Not bundle #2, they did do so last week for #1. They did contact steam for #2 as well so possibly in the future.
Currently, no. But they're already in contact with Valve to achieve that.
I already own two of these games on Steam
But
I want to support mac developers
And I can't find anything about it on the site.

Pretty sure there was an amazon option next to the google checkout one I used.
Yeah but it just takes me to the paypal option.

Like I did in Humble #1, I gave everything to EFF. Figured the devs get enough.
I already own most games, but gonna buy anyway, since I love these bundles.

Don't know about the other two.
I paid $1 too, it's just nice to have some of these for Linux.

I can't imagine why you couldn't do it.
And holy crap some company did a 1000 dollar humble bundle. Man they are almost at 200k now
I never asked for this!
Yeah, it's a pretty novel way to advertise, and one that I'll support. If companies were to start fighting for the top spots...
