[Dungeon Defenders] - Dungeon Defenders II: The Dungeoning coming soon! Free-to-play!

I'd have to play with others though to really get a feel for how the game is supposed to be played; because solo clear isn't it. You move too slow, and there are way too many directions enemies come in to be intended to play alone.

Battle phase can get pretty hectic depending on difficulty vs. your level. Build phase -- you're exactly right. The biggest bottleneck is running laps for the chests, which obviously would be less silly with 4 people on.
Yes
CorriganX on Steam and just about everywhere else.
And replaced my disconnects with freezes.

Some of these maps get pretty tough though, probably the reason why this game is so good.
We should probably go through the game on Easy with new characters.
If you have an open slot, and don't mind another person. I'd be more than happy to join you*.
*Connection to Trendy pending, of course.
easy? pfft, are ye mice or men?
I like to get a handle on the game before it rides my anus into the sunset.
Honestly, difficult doesn't bother me. I'd just like to play without constant DCs and occasional game freezes. Hopefully stuff will get sorted out and fixed.
It just stinks that Local works fine, but Ranked is what I want to play. Hah.

I got up to 244(DPS) and it was still difficult to run a level on medium solo.
I almost beat both the second and first levels on medium with a monk. I'm specced in strength and speed aura. I throw down as many ensare/electricity traps as i can at every chokepoint, and run around killing anything that makes it past my traps. I think i should be able to beat the second area after i hit the next level (7). He's really good, just really fragile.
Monk really seems to cry out for a partner.
I decided to try playing a Tower-focused Squire. Good times. Dude's traps are absurd (at least at low levels).
I've been wondering which class would be the best candidate for a Hero-focused build. Squire or hunter maybe?

I'm having fun by myself but I definitely want to play multi soon.

Edit: Looks like they're back up, no major rollbacks but I lost what I got in the game I was currently in.
Edit: And while yes, it still has issues after a few hot fixes, at least theyre working on it. Then again, would you rather people's perception of you be negligent or incompetent. Hah.
Anyone looking for a coop partner should add me on steam

They're in crates with chains on them in your tavern, have to open them first and pick them up.
