I will concede that the best possible cake is better than the best possible pie, but we must also acknowledge that the worst possible cake eclipses the worst possible pie. Pie is always good, never bad. Cake wildly plunges between the two extremes.
Also cheesecake is delicious and cheesecake is totally a pie.

It is odd. That is why it is interesting! Also, not to toot my own horn, but I know a great deal about the American system of government, both principles and specifics. Other countries, even other liberal democracies, not so much, and I really should fix that.
I know you are sort of at a loose end - so have you considered trying to get funding for study in a foreign country? My universities in NZ were lousy with Americans studying or lecturing, so it could be that there are sweet programmes that you could consider. You would certainly widen your knowledge and have a fun foreign trip too!

Funny thing was, he never beat me while I played that deck. We fought to a draw most times, but a few precious times I beat him. 8-)
