But no, really. Now with SimulView:
Today we're releasing Killzone 3 patch 1.13, which introduces co-op support for SimulView.

SimulView is a special two-player feature unique to the soon-to-be-launched Sony 3D Display, which enables two players to each get their own full (2D) screen while wearing the 3D Glasses.

Read all about the new Sony 3D Display here:

Why does this make me think of Smell-o-Vision? I mean, sure, it's gimmicky, but it's actually not a bad idea. Full-screen couch co-op would actually be pretty cool. I guess I'm skeptical because I assume (1) it won't have support on more than a couple games, a la every gimmicky tech innovation in video games for like forevah, and (2) it'll cause headaches.

Sigh. I had to dig pretty far back to find this thread. It's probably time to move on. Someone want to clue me in on what's the big online multiplayer FPS for the PS3 right now? I'd prefer non-realistic/modern-day-militarism, but whatever. I'm obviously behind the times.

That's pretty sick, actually. Even though few will be able to really take advantage, I love how Sony and partners support so much interesting shit for gamers.

"Yeah maybe 5 people will use it, but it's awesome. Spend twenty million dollars on it."f

Uncharted 3 is probably the big shooter now.
