I just spent all the years between 19 and 27 trying to make damn sure I never lived with a parent. This led to some poor decisions, which eventually resulted in my living with my mom now.
But I've noticed that there are people on the forums who live with their folks, and yet still get laid. I've got a hangup about this, because I feel like King Loser of Losertown, Loserania.

I'm kind of annoyed at how messed up they hand your empire to you in empire total war. Like, I get that the idea is to manage your own empire and stuff but I shouldn't be able to almost double the efficiency of my entire country by firing all the incompetent people it starts off in your cabinet for the much more qualified people waiting in line and speaking with a few countries that were on good terms.
Like, if I hadn't gone into every sub menu my empire would have been doing half as well from the very first turn of the game. It just seems silly.

my age didn't really come up too much in the msn chat days. ah, those were fun times. well, as fun as using the internet as a surrogate for real life socialization can be.
Empire is overwhelming to me since there is so much and nothing to really give me time to figure it out. I tend to start as like England and use my tiny island and isolation to figure out my plans.
