If Gabriel played Bioshock at all, then he has this.

I have never done any plumbing (I have never plumbed?) but I watched my dad do it on several occasions and it looked like one of the most miserable tasks imaginable. Almost as miserable as the Bioshock hacking minigame.

Bottom line, water starts leaking out of anything, I'm reaching for the Yellow Pages.

I've never had to do any kind of plumbing work, but last year I replaced my phone chord outlet faceplate thing and fixed the wiring on my porch light. I was so damn happy with myself.

My girlfriend's toilet continuously runs sometimes and you have to open the back and press this thing to get it to stop.

That's the extent of my plumbing experience.

Oh, and sometimes my sink drips so I just tighten the shit out of the taps.

would not like playing it in three dimensions though, i.e. real plumbing.

I replaced a toilet last month. It made me feel very manly.

Is that appropriate? Should it have made me feel that way? What does that say about me and the society I live in?

Dunno. I can tell you that I trotted around with my arms raised a la Rocky for what is probably an embarrassingly long time.

Packing the back of your station wagon with purchases from Ikea is the real life application for Tetris. I have received the "there's no fucking way" look from passing fellow Ikea patrons so many times. Seeing it turn into the "What... the... fuck..." look always brings a smile to my face.

I usually sing the theme song as I work.

Ah plumbing. It's fun what you learn when you're ignorant to basic principles like the freezing point of water and what it will do to a pipe if such a thing happens. Picture me in a home after my parents passed away, not even a year apart and discovering this wonderful fact after I failed to release the water leading to an external line via a drainage valve conveniently located in my basement.

Had to clean up, core out the wall, replace the valve and fix the wall as a result. I only noticed once water literally started pissing out of said wall at high velocity.

Last year when someone completely busted off the side mirror of my wife's Ford Focus I bought a replacement part online for about $30 and fixed it myself. Repair shop wanted $120. It was really easy to fix, took me about 20 minutes.

    Made me feel really good.
