    magic is always made up and arbitrary, so whatever way you show it makes sense (or doesn't)

    Steampunk takes stuff which is actually real and then makes it so it doesn't make sense

    That is very pretty art though

    The guy in white is a powerful pyromancer and such who can make regular guns blow up in the user's hands. Presumably these are special guns to prevent just such a thing from happening.
