First time I tried to fight Cilan I kept having Patrat use bide, in the hopes that I could hit him with a big attack. But his puppy kept using the bulk up move until it was invincible and was able to take out everything in one hit. Shit

the dex now tells you how many shinies of each pokemon you've seen
I just can't comprehend why gamefreak would take the option away
like
add more options, make the standard no restriction autolevel wifi battle not the default or something
but it was the beloved de facto method of pokemon battling for literally years
I have begun to think of the creation of pokemon games not being a process attended by reasonable men and women, but insane miracles, works of mad geniuses who more often than not strike success, but are incapable of understanding the reasons for that success
