probably, depending on if you actually donate it to someone who is a qualified organization who uses it for their purposes. like, if you donated that safari thing to a 501(c)(3) organization and they just sold it (assuming it's treated as property) and got cash for $5,000, they'd send you a letter and you could only deduct the $5,000. you'd have to get it valued at its fair market value.

So I was just reading some articles and, is there really any other front runner for the GOP nom in 2012 besides Romney? Huckabee doesn't seem to be getting as much attention anymore, and I don't think the republicans really consider Palin for a candidacy when they seem to like to use her better as an attack dog.

Its really funny because, at this point I feel like Romney is the only real threat to Obama, however, due to the fact that Romeny is LDS, I think the smear campaign by Evangelicals like Huckabee and Palin will taint Romney so much, that they wont run him and lose the race. Its the GOP's game to lose at this point I feel.
