    I've met a zillion celebrities that don't count because it was a signing or a show or a convention and that totally doesn't count
    Weird Al, Brian Regan, Penn and Teller, Marina Sirtis, etc

    I used to work security at Gilette Stadium (where the Patriots play). One time after a game my team was assigned to escort Troy Aikman from the FOX broadcast booth to his car. So the time comes and we all surround him in a circle and walk with him out to the parking lot. The whole time I'm thinking in my head "If anything were to happen, there's no fucking way that I am going to take a bullet for Troy Aikman".

    I also had lunch with Rachel Ticotin once. She's one of those people that has been in a ton of movies as a supporting actress so I spent half the meal wondering why she looked so familiar.

    I had a beer with Brian Posehn after he did a comedy show. He's a funny, tall, and weird man. Also did a great comedy show.

    I fist bumped Obama during the campaign. And I've met and talked to a Democratic couple senators and congressmen when I volunteered. Plus, my dad's family was a pretty well-established Republican political family so I've met a couple famous politicians from that.

    I went to school with a chick who left Nebraska in like 5th grade to pursue an acting career. She's actually pretty successful, though nothing that I would watch. Lindsey Shaw? I really don't remember her that well, but according to my classmates, she was kind of a bitch.

    My grandpa and great aunt knew both Johnny Carson and Dick Cavett. My great aunt even gets a few mentions in his autobiography.

    My sister had a friend in high school who was like a savant in radio call in promotions. One time she got backstage passes to a show from three different radio stations. Anyways, the most famous person my sister met from that was Nelly. The funny thing is, my sister last year went to France to teach English. Apparently, middle-class French kids think America is all celebrities all the time, and so they would always ask what celebrities she had met. She would say Nelly, and they'd be all like "Qui?"

    I saw the Beatle who is still alive and not ringo (yes I don't know who that is, yes I'm a terrible person) at a crosswalk in NYC while there on vacation.

    Khoo introduced VoC and I to Mike and Jerry at New York Comic Con the year before last. I was frustratingly at a loss for words and Khoo saved the day by breaking the silence.

    We also hung out at Neal Adams's booth for close to half an hour because VoC had some silver age comics she wanted him to sign. He really took a liking to us and wanted us to hang out and chat. I was so nervous because I was barely familiar with his work and didn't want to be disrespectful by not knowing a thing about his more-recent stuff.

    A while back a friend of mine texted me to tell me Keanu Reeves was on the treadmill next to her at the gym. I told her she should tell him that that there was a bomb on the treadmill and he has to keep it over 6mph or it would explode.

    She wouldn't do it though.
