The Last Story is supposedly pending European interest tests to determine whether it'll come to America, and if Xenoblade sells at all it may serve as a motivator to bring the game over as well.
Pikmin New Play Control?
oh, so hopefully if i import pandora's tower it'll mean the difference between it coming stateside or not. no thanks necessary, guys.
I'm going to be controversial here and suggest that for high-level content Sharla is a waste of space. Chain-dazing with 7th/Dunban/Shulk along with the buttock-clenching terror that the party meter won't be full again by the time the chain ends is the way to go.
Counterpoint: Her buttocks clenching on her pants accentuates the firmness of said buttocks and my pants.
Game. Set. Match.
If you are confident in your ability to chain though the skill that gives you a small health boost everytime you chain plus the undefeated of the east gem is usually more than enough to keep you up.
There's a new episode of Iwata Laughs up about The Last Story, it's got some pretty neat details about the game.
Did you know they originally didn't initially envision it as a Fantasy RPG? Judging from the interview it sounds like they added the "Fantasy" part as they went along!
By simplifying the gameworld and giving it a fantasy setting, we were able to give the characters more depth. It’s actually easier to bring out realistic human dimensions in a fantasy setting.

Alright and in this next scene all the animals have AIDS.
Knowing my Ren and Stimpy you could very well be spot on, though I must admit that's not where I heard it first. I got it from one of Plumphelmetpunk's Space Station 13 videos where a mysterious virus infected everyone on the station and caused their butts to drop off in an explosive fashion and then automatically regrow. Plump had the time of his life holding on to his butt, quite literally, in one of the maintenance tunnels during a meteor shower of the station, during which he humorously read out aloud what people in other parts around the station were doing.
One man in particular had no less than three butts.
You need to be like four and a half stars. That means every quest up to that point except the two rival girls. The actual quest is pretty funny though. Not as badass as Dunban's or bittersweet as Sharla's, but your reactions are gold.
I only have two quests; the little girls and the follow up to the two fighting brothers. Hopefully it's just that one to go.
God knows how many I've got to do in the other areas to unlock the rest. I'm starting to really hate collectable hunts, 62 hours and there's a bitter kiwi or whatever from makna forest that I need 3 of and have yet to find a single one.

If it's the quest what I think it is, you don't want bitter kiwis. Only Shulk's 4th skill tree requires a ton of town affinity. The rest are usually part of a quest chain and can be gotten pretty easily if you talk to the named locals and help them out occasionally.
Welp, I can't. I had the walnut grapes when I picked up the quest and it instantly completed. I've removed all of them from my inventory and I have the bitter kiwis but there is no way to hand in the quest without it saying I used walnut grapes.

Yeah, I think I know what quest we're talking about here. That one in particular is a pain in the buttocks to avoid... Do you have any earlier saves to back you up? It's not a total wash if you don't, you should still be able to get everything and max out the affinity for Frontier Village (or so I think I've been assured by looking around when I committed the same mistake), it's just that there's going to be one rocky marriage more in the world.

No it was ages ago I picked it up and I only keep one save file anyway.
I've got this obsessive compulsive habit of saving every time I'm coming up on some event that seems like it'd be even remotely possible to lock me out of something. It's served me well so far, for example in ToS I've got no less than ~20 different save files at different points in time, but I always prefer to play on one "main" save file simply to save me the headache of guessing which file I last played. Xenoblade is just so massive that you can pick up and mess up a couple of quests long before you realise it.
In 1 the characters look cut and pasted into the picture.
3 is a little too pastoral and happy.
2 or 4, 3 would be okay if it weren't so fluffy.
I think the first alternative suffers from some kind of compression artifacts here, it looks perfectly fine when I downloaded it. Or well, better anyway.

If that's all it is, it would get my vote. I really like it otherwise.

Like, Riki doesn't even begin to compare.

Zephiran has more than one butt?
Massive bonus points if you catch that reference.

Gears of Swords first English Trailer.
Saw it posted over on 'Gaf. The trailer as a whole is kind of lackluster, but the hints of voice acting you can hear at least seems pretty decent!

Decent videos with terrible audio quality!
EDIT:
Speaking of videos with terrible audio...
I'd say this series of videos would service to give anyone a pretty fair impression of the first few hours and ins and outs of the game.
Might wanna skip the first ~10 minutes or so.
The Gooch even did some gameplay presentation videos himself, did he not? I think Imma try to find that if I can...

They're all rather high caliber, though.

Those rare collectibles are the most egregious case of inexplicable bad design in an otherwise incredibly well-designed game.
At least earlier on you can trade for them. Black Liver Beans hid from me for a good few hours.
Or maybe it was don't use the rare ingredient. I forget.
Characters & voice samples. The voices are ace. They've even covered their bases by adding a female Reyn. She's a bit of a tart.
"It looks kind of like a big fluffy muffin! Oh, I'm sorry. I'm so hungry I can't think straight!"
God bless the queen. I wish every game had British voice acting.
Well goddamn, it is girly Reyn. Rule 63.
It really is a rare commodity, shame there's not much more of it.
I wonder if it'd be possible for a certain youtube Brit to have a look at any of these games?

Considering that it'd retail for what, around 70-80€? Yeah, that's a really good deal right there.

I'd say they're all great, but if I had to pick one I'd go for number one. Or three. Or four. Or two. Gaaaaaaah!
