Can't View Post History?

Is there a reason I can't view all posts in either my own or any other users account? Did this feature get disabled? The message I get when trying to view the post history is that I do not have access to view the page.

    Searching is disabled to reduce server load, and viewing user post histories depends on that.

    I know it is too late to help you Cokomon, but for others who come after you, I just updated the error message to make it more clear that searching has been disabled.
