Any tips on speeding up the dps on the game, besides the in-game settings? My video card....somethinged, and it's taking a break, and onboard video gets me 30fps on a low resolution and everything as low as I can.
EDIT: speeding up the dps. Heh. Frames per second, I mean. I suppose it's obvious from the rest of the post.

How long did it take you people to patch? I'm running an i7 and it's been scanning files for the better part of an hour already.
I started mine this morning before I went to work at 0545. I have a corei7 too. It wasn't done when they shut the power off this morning at 0830 for some construction in the housing area. I get to start over when I get home tonight.

I always minimize the game at the loading screen (after I peek at summoner's) and whenever it finishes loading I can hear the in game music, so I switch back.

I'm about to start a ranked game where my team is composed of Anivia, Ashe, Karthus, Ez, and Teemo.
Why the fuck didn't I dodge?
I mean, you could always pull out an amazing upset, with Ashe initiating with her arrow and Anivia trapping squishies behind her wall so teemo and ez and Karthus can power them all down, then have Ashe kite the remaining champs while everyone else focused them...
but that's a perfect world.

We were winning up until around the 25 minute mark, but Karth, despite deciding to initiate every fight with his fucking face, bought no tank items (I got a Rod of Ages and Jesus Armor: "lol u killed me revive lol u killed me egg") and instead decided to get 2 Deathcaps and attempted to make a third.
TF trying to ult on me and getting blown up every time never got old, though. My ELO is now less than 1000. Why does this have to happen to me...
Wriggles > Merc Treads > GA on Warwick is pretty hilarious if only for tower diving purposes. I built a frozen mallet after that to continue the onslaught of tankiness. Nobody escaped. Nobody survived. But vlad did get all the kills with ridiculous 400 damage transfusions.

The downside to philoso-Cassi is that your lane opponent gets to free-farm too.
The upside is that it doesn't matter, because the farm goes a lot further for you than it does for them.
