Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 and Thread All Over...Too...
HOW FRIEND CODES WORK: After you beat the first gym you'll unlock the ability to go online. If you enter your friend's code into your Pal Pad and they enter yours (which you can see, guess where, on your pal pad) then you can interact with each other whenever both of you are online at the same time. The name entry limit is 32 people I believe, so don't go nuts.
GYM LEADERS?
We Start in May. Sign ups start today. We'll need to codeify rules and such, and hopefully only people who are flexible and committed sign up.
POKEMART THREAD FOR TRADING?
If the scene blows up again I'm sure someone will make one.

TECHNICAL MACHINES: (HIDDEN MACHINES TOO, BUT THEY'RE HIDDEN)
TMS are now infinite use...so you get the good ones a lot later than normal! Here is where they all are. PROTIP: If it's really good, or says a sage has it, then guess what, beat the game first and then you can get it! Good ones you get before the end of the game are the exception, but there are some decent ones later on like Fire Blast, Thunder, Blizzard, Shadowball that you just get late instead of after the game is over.

LEGENDARIES
One time only, non breedable Pokémon. This game has a bunch of them.
ZEKROM/RESHIRAM: See that asshole on the cover of your game box? That's one, so is the one N catches. Unless you're insane enough to catch/breed and box SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIX Pokémon before fighting N you'll have to catch that one.
VICTINI: Download Liberty Ticket until April 10th, take boat from Castelia, fight random low level punks.
TORNADUS/THUNDURUS: After your eight gym badge talk to the receptionist on the route 10 gate and she'll mention funny weather on Route 7. Fly back there and go to the rest hut. You'll experience a cutscene and from now on you'll encounter one of these assholes randomly in the field. They are level 40, Tornadus is Black, Thundurus is White. Again White wins.
COBALION: Remember the game beating into your head that you should surf along that route before Chargestone cave over and over again? Well, get off your ass, actually do it (bring along strength and flash as well) catch some Axew's and get this awesome fucker. He also unlocks the next two.
TERRAKION: Fly to the Pokémon League, back track a bit onto Victory Road. Notice something different? Well, if you don't, explore a bit until you find this asshole. Once again Strength is needed.
VIRIZION: Now with iphone. Oh, go back to Pinwheel Forest, he's near the eastern end in a newly unlocked area.
KYUREM: Back of Giant's Chasm. Will totally get an alternate form in Pokémon Grey. You can sense this shit.
CYNTHIA: Shows up in Undella Town, is an asshole. Once you beat her she leaves, but comes back for every day of Spring and Summer.
MORIMOTO: In the Game Freak building, slightly less of an asshole. Can be fought everyday.
CHEREN: Route 5, talk to him. Moves from there to Victory Road, the room right before the exit.
BIANCA: Juniper's Lab, can be fought on Saturday's. Gives bits of advice on other days.
SEVEN SAGES: OoT shit here. One is on Route 18, one is on Route 14, one is near the bottom of Chargestone Cave, one is in the open container in Cold Storage, one is in the bottom of Relic Castle, and the Dreamyard. Ghestis cannot be found again, but his minions give you the three legendary stones from fourth gen.
NPCs of note
Anville Town: On weekends, an Office Clerk in Anville Town (accessible through the brown train in the Battle Subway) will trade a PP Up for a Star Piece (a Star Piece can be found once a day at the Fighting rock south of Pinwheel Forest if you bring a Fighting Pokemon).
Castelia City: The man in shades in the PokéCenter will give you an item when you've traded with a certain amount of unique trainers. 5: Wide Lens; 10: Everstone; 20: Zoom Lens; 30: Choice Scarf; 40: PP Max; 50: Master Ball.
Driftveil City: Once a day, the lady in the house left of the PokéCenter will give you a Heart Scale after you show a specific TM/HM move on one of your Pokémon.
Driftveil City: The Youngster in the house southeast of the PokéCenter will trade a Basculin for a Minccino.
Driftveil City: The Ace Trainer in the southern most house of the PokéCenter will teach one of the starter lines Grass Pledge, Fire Pledge or Water Pledge.
Marvelous Bridge: Once a day, the lady on the bridge will give you a Big Mushroom if you can identify the Patrat.
Mistralton City: The guy in the PokéCenter will tell you the Hidden Power type of your Pokémon.
Narcene City: In the White version, the Lass in the house right of the PokéCenter will trade a Cottonee for a Petilil.
Narcene City: In the Black version, the Lass in the second house to the left of the PokéCenter will trade a Petilil for a Cottonee.
Nimbasa City: The Ace Trainer in the Battle Subway hub will rate the IVs of your Pokémon.
Nimbasa City: After you beat the Subway boss and exit the train, a janitor will be standing on the platform to give you a PP Up.
Nimbasa City: Once a day, a Nursery Aide in the Small Court or Big Stadium may give you a Rare Candy. An Ace Trainer may give you a PP Up. A Veteran may give you a PP Max.
Opelucid City: The lady in the house north of the PokéCenter will tell you if the EVs of the Pokémon in the first slot of your party are maxed or not.
Opelucid City: Drayden will teach one of your Dragon Pokémon Draco Meteor.
Route 7: The Hiker in the house north of Mistralton City will trade a Emolga for a Boldore.
Route 8: Once a day, the Parasol Lady near the Tubeline Bridge gate will give you a Damp Rock (05:00-09:59), Heat Rock(10:00-16:59), Smooth Rock(17:00-19:59), or Icy Rock (20:00-04:59).
Route 13: Once a day, the man in shades north of Undella City near the small house will give you a DeepSeaScale, DeepSeaTooth, Dragon Scale, Dubious Disc, Electrizer, King's Rock, Magmarizer, Metal Coat, Oval Stone, Prism Scale, Protector, Razor Claw, Razor Fang, Reaper Cloth or Up-Grade, One of the Flutes, Big Pearl, Stick, Thick Club, or a motherfucking LUCKY EGG.
Route 13: The old man in the small house will teach one of the starter lines Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn or Hydro Cannon.
Route 15: The Scientist in the trailer near the Marvelous Bridge gate will trade a Rotom for a Ditto.
Twist Mountain: Once a day, a Worker in the mine at the very bottom of the mountain will give you a Dome Fossil, Helix Fossil, Old Amber, Root Fossil, Claw Fossil, Armor Fossil or Skull Fossil.
Undella Town: A dude or dudette in the house near the Riches' mansion will trade a Munchlax holding a Leftovers for a Cinccino (Summer only).
Village Bridge: Once a day, the chef outside the trailer will give you a Lum Berry after you complete a battle of wits.
BLACK CITY/WHITE FOREST
Black City, shockingly exclusive to Pokémon Black, is a technocity filled with greedy individuals and overpriced shops. At its base level it's a rinky dink techno city of darkness and corruption with only one main building and a Pokémon Center, at its height it is full of skyscrapers and asshole trainers, and the shops are filled with overpriced evolutionary items. You can battle most of the occupants once a day and they have 1-2 Pokémon between levels 30 and 70 or so. Those trainers determine which items are in the shops, and if you don't battle them for awhile they will move on. Fucking with the clock can also get them all to leave early.
White Forest is a lame place with lame baby form pokémon and random items scattered on the ground. It is exclusive to White. Trees get taller, more grass is formed, and little bodies of water appear as more people move in. To get those peace loving hippies to stay all you need to do is talk to them once a day. Boooring.
How is population determined? By how fast you beat the game. How do you get new people to move in? By talking to them via entralink missions in another games White Forest/Black City.
PA G&T First Ever Pokémon Black & White Tournament!
Two months have passed since the release of B/W. The Dream World has been available for almost a month now. Audinos have been farmed. Elite Four members have been whipped. Ice cream has been scooped. It’s getting a bit stale if you ask me! Well, for those seeking new challenges, look no further! Here’s your chance to be the best there ever was!
Rules
The tournament will be single elimination (may be subject to change).
Matches are best two out of three games.
Games are 3v3 single Flat Battle (more on that later).
Pokemon above level 50 become level 50 for the duration of the game. Pokémon below level 50 will not have their level adjusted.
Your roster should consist of 6 different Pokémon. These 6 Pokémon will be sent out for each game, where you will choose 3 out of those 6 for battle. You are allowed to switch it up between games.
You are allowed to change moves, items and even Pokémon if it’s the same species before the start of the match. It is however not allowed to change anything between games.
Legendary clause (Pokémon that can’t breed are banned)
Sleep clause (only one Pokémon on each team can be put to sleep at any time. Rest does not count towards this.)
OHKO clause (the moves Fissure, Horn Drill, Guillotine and Sheer Cold are banned)
Evasion clause (the moves Double Team and Minimize and the item BrightPowder are banned)
Self-KO clause (It is not allowed to faint your last Pokémon with a self-KO move)
The Pokémon Wynaut and Wobbuffet are banned.
Only Dream World abilities and special moves released to the public before the tournament are allowed.
Use of the Wonder Launcher is not allowed.
Other than the above, standard Flat Battle rules apply:
Species Clause
No two Pokémon on the same team may have the same Species number. As a reminder, you can only carry a single Rotom on your team, since all Rotom forms have the same Species number. (Note: you may not change forms during the tournament so specifiy which form you’ll be using.)
Item Clause
No two Pokémon on the same team may hold the same Item at the start of battle.
Special Clause
Special Pokémon are banned. These are all Version Mascot Legendaries, other ultra-powerful Legendaries, and event-only Pokémon. These are:
#150 Mewtwo
#151 Mew
#249 Lugia
#250 Ho-Oh
#251 Celebi
#382 Kyogre
#383 Groudon
#384 Rayquaza
#385 Jirachi
#386 Deoxys
#441 Chatot
#483 Dialga
#484 Palkia
#487 Giratina
#489 Phione
#490 Manaphy
#491 Darkrai
#492 Shaymin
#493 Arceus
#494 Victini
#643 Reshiram
#644 Zekrom
#646 Kyurem
#647 Keldeo
#648 Meloetta
#649 Genesect
Move Clause
The moves Sky Drop and Chatter are banned.
That sounds grantastic! Where do I sign up?!
You can PM me exactly six Pokémon names, plus your Friend Code, with Pokémon somewhere in the subject title. Do this before Friday May 27th 12:00 AM EDT. Your team will be revealed before the first round pairings are posted some time later that day. A bye will be randomly awarded when an odd number of people participate. There are no time restrictions, but please, finish your matches in a timely manner. Communicate with your opponent. If you don’t, you automatically forfeit. If both of you can’t schedule a match in a decent enough time frame, the two of you decide who goes on.
Will there be prizes?
YES! Besides fame, cheerleaders at your whim and the privilege to call yourself the best there ever was, the winner will receive the grandest of prizes.* There will also be trophies given based on special categories. The specifics will not be revealed. If you have cool stuff to give away, hit me a PM!
Currently working on the best Drought Ninetales onto my team. I need to check IVs on about a dozen of these Vulpix before I throw the spare ones up here.
As a sidenote, I am looking for a Harvest Exeggcute to round out my team.
Should probably put something in the breeding section about how DW abilities have a 40% chance of being passed down, but only by a female with the DW ability breeding with a non-ditto
Just reposting this here in case the previous thread gets locked:
Ok, so I'm making a post for the pokémon I'm offering for helping people.
Note: I abused the RNG of my SoulSilver cart in order to catch these.
Female Shellder - シェルダー / OT: アルヘニス (SoulSilver) [JPN]
Adamant / Skill Link
31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 29 / 31
Rock Blast
Comes from my retail SoulSilver cart. Hatched there as well.
Oh, man! Cloyster is gonna be so broken in the 5th generation! Just a little joke to break the ice! Oh, man, I crack myself up.
In all seriousness, you can EV train in the fourth generation, but don't evolve it until you've given it a Heart Scale in BW so that it learns Shell Break/Crack/Smash/whatever it ends up being called when it comes out in English.
Ditto - Nicknamed Adam / OT: アルヘニス (SoulSilver) [JPN]
Adamant
31 / 31 / 31 / 31 / x / 31
Comes from my SoulSilver cart.
Ditto - Nicknamed TimIc / OT: アルヘニス (SoulSilver) [JPN]
Timid
30 / 15 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31 HP Ice 70
Comes from my SoulSilver cart.
Ditto - Nicknamed CmFir / OT: アルヘニス (SoulSilver) [JPN]
Calm
31 / 27 / 30 / 30 / 31 / 30 HP Fire 70
Comes from my SoulSilver cart.
Ditto - Nicknamed Quite / OT: アルヘニス (SoulSilver) [JPN]
Quiet
31 / 30 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 0 HP
Comes from my retail SoulSilver cart.
Now, what am I looking for? I want:
- Black exclusives
- PP Ups (PP Maxes would be better, but I think those are too rare for people to consider giving them away)
- Heart Scales
- Nuggets
- Vitamins
- EV-reducing berries
- Old pokés that I'm too lazy to Pokétransfer
-Wings
- May edit to add more needs later
I did catch them to share them here, so if you have nothing from the above list, you don't need to give me anything.
I think there should be a rule where you have to do two matches: The second match will involve the three pokés you didn't get to choose the first time.

Matches are best 2 out of 3 battles and you're allowed to shuffle it up between battles, so that doesn't really work out.

Were there some ridiculous in-game restrictions to what could be used in flat battle or was I hearing that wrong? And if it scales down to lv 50 then I should have to only train two more for my team.

If you mean not allowing moves taught by Gen IV move tutors, I think it's only applied to (ranked) random wifi battles, though I personally haven't confirmed it yet. Right now I'm going to assume that's not the case for flat battles.

Oh good, I think that's what it was, that doesn't effect me regardless.
I'm pretty sad. Finally bred a shiny female Frillish and it ends up being Brave nature. I think I am gonna keep trying and hopefully next time I'll get a female as well. Almost did a soft-reset before noticing it was shiny... Phew, that was close!
Got a bit of a tall order here: Looking for a male Slakoth, a Scyther, a female Turtwig, and a female Hippopotas. I've got some Totodiles and Treeckos as well as a lone Dusk Stone up for grabs.
So why is Sky Drop banned? I remember seeing Chatter banned maybe because of offensive language, or it works differently online, I forget.
I haven't even been able to see Sky Drop get used yet. It does sound a little broken, at least with Hail/Sandstorm support
I always like to try and compete in the tourneys but I don't know if I'd have any new pokemon made in time for this. Maybe the perfect IV pokemon that Chen gave me, but those are 1st Gen with upgrades.
Well i messed up big time, i didn't know that getting xp at all even though ex share meens the poke get's the ev too, so my nidoking who i am building for sp attack now have 4 attack av, is there a way to fix that?
If it's doubles only and somebody has to use Gravity at the right time then I don't think its an issue for this singles tourney.
But i'm not really trying to make an argument to unban it. I was just curious.
In singles, if you go first and use Sky Drop the opponent is suppose to be unable to attack until after you drop them on the next turn right? Seems pretty useful for stalling with the right set up.

KELDEO: Unreleased Event.
MELOETTA: Unreleased Event.
GENOSECT: Unreleased Event.
POST GAME NONSENSE:
Rules
These are:
*Prizes may nor may not be grand.

As a sidenote, I am looking for a Harvest Exeggcute to round out my team.
Ok, so I'm making a post for the pokémon I'm offering for helping people.
Note: I abused the RNG of my SoulSilver cart in order to catch these.
In other news I think the Dream World might hate me; I've had 3 days in a row without finding a single female...
I think there should be a rule where you have to do two matches: The second match will involve the three pokés you didn't get to choose the first time.
Also, does Legendary clause include pokes like Latios and Heatran? I'm guessing the former but not the latter.
Latios and Heatran can't breed, so they're both not allowed.
I'll hit you up later today once I get out of work.
Haha, I didn't even take the time to read the rules :P I've read them now.
Also also, hasn't the Victini event ended?
MM breeding is pretty good this gen.
Two more days and this shitty finals schedule will finally be over.

Mech I can get you a Scyther for a Trapinch. This for your Black cartrdige?
If it's more than 100, the first one drops it to 100 from wherever it was. Otherwise, it's 10, yes
That's just for the fourth gen. They changed it so that it invariably removes 10 EVs regardless of how many it has.
