Well this looks like fun, doesn't it? It is! I learned about this game a month or so ago by watching
Extra Credits talk about games you should check out. I've been playing it for about a week or so (when baby-duties allow) and it's a pretty fun little brawler. A mini-review, for your edification:
Things which are good!: -It's free, my favorite flavor!
-Lots of different classes to play and skills to learn
-Pretty good management systems to keep everything organized
-Quite pretty.
-So far, the pay-stuff seems to just change your appearance and/or help you make cool gear, nothing that breaks the game or turns it into a Moneyfight (tm).
Things which are bad: -It takes a while to get any sort of difficult.
-Lots of decisions to make without knowing what those decisions necessarily mean.
-There are people on it. I'm hoping a few like-minded, relatively sane PA people might join me on there so I don't have to learn the ridiculous code that, of course, has sprung up in place of conversations about gear and group requests.
Things you probably want to know: -Always be doing an 'Epic Quest'. That's how you unlock new dungeons to go brawl in. If you don't, you'll end up having to go back to underpowered stuff.
-Use the map. You can mouse over people to see what they sell. Everyone sells something, though you won't care about most of it.
Come join! Play! Enjoy! Make a clan with me. We'll use English and proper punctuation and everything. We'll call ourselves Clan Syntax, or some such nonsense.

Hey, does anyone know a good source for DFO info? Wiki or FAQ or something? I'm sure the info is out there somewhere, but wading through the forums is an exercise in frustration.
As far as help, just having someone to do some of the Master and King's Road quests in Behemoth would be nice.
And you thought escort quests in WoW were bad...
And also I guess this way I can finally do those mentor and join a party/guild quests. Hooray!
You can mute individuals but there is a limited number of space to your mute list. I believe you just click on their name or character then click on Block. I don't even pay attention to those gold sellers anymore.
Guessed that answers that question.
Enjoying this but I think I've laid out my moves wrong.
I"m on the East Coast Cain server as Lvl23 Tchel or my lil gunner Alagory if anyone wants to hang out ever.

And apparently Korea JUST got Male Mages. Can't see to find a good video of the various subclasses.
Edit: the next big update for us will be Innovation (or whatever they'll localize it as;) 800x600 default resolution, redone graphics and revamped towns, slashed exp curve, removal of SP books and stat stones, avengers (the fourth priest subclass), and numerous other changes. This will probably come early summer at the latest.

also to block spammers, disable general chat in your guild/party/etc tabs. then if you really want to see general chat, you can click the general tab. but pretty much nothing gets said in general, it's mostly bots and people just whisper

Is it the hat trick thing? Because trying to get the other two games to install was like pulling teeth. Dragon's nest took a lot of effort and Vindictus wouldn't start at all.
