I dunno. I think trade schools and two year programs can be as good, if money is your motivator. You'll wind up working with your hands, more, though.

I think you're confusing accessibility and affordability.

JSTOR is at that cost because you are paying for a high quality, extraordinarily well indexed, massive range of peer reviewed sources. That is worth far more than the $40 they are asking.
