Why is it that Jinro doesn't look to be in the same quality of form that he used to be in :(

He seems to be doing these builds (like reactored hellion opening, reaper opening) that rely a lot on the early game going very well for him. Then he makes a mistake and everything avalanches into an ugly mess.

See I always get annoyed with people who just mass banelings when they have better things to spend their gas on. They are so much more effective when use surgically, like when coupled with fungal.

Didn't think Jinro played badly that last game. Line's macro was decidedly average yet he just stomped all over that push.

Fungal + banelings and jinro wasn't prepared for it, of course he'd get stomped in that fight.

Yeah I'm just saying it looked like he played fucking terribly but I don't think he was much worse than Line that game.

    t-minus 4 days, 16 hours.

Sounds like a long time, doesn't it?

NOT WHEN YOU SHOULD BE PRACTISING HARD. Lets see some great performances :)

As a note, we still need a second stream that can be running for the majority of the tournament. With so many matches, I'd love to be able to have as many as possible streamed, so the more people who aren't competing that can observe and stream, the better, even if only for one match series and even if you have no desire to commentate!

Since I will most likely lose in the first round I can probs stream most of the tournament

sure they do you have to be careful not to move them if they are part of a ctrl group and you want to nuke

this must have happened in a patch change then, because I was using ghosts to nuke in the Covert Ops challenge mission yesterday (which runs on the launch version of the game) and the ghost that was nuking wasn't moving when I had him in the control group of other ghosts.

No, ghosts do not respond to any command while nuking other than the cancel command (escape by default).

Well, they might be able to activate or deactivate cloak, but they certainly can not be moved while calling down a nuke until it can no longer be canceled.

BTW I can probably stream whatever parts of the tournament (1080p baby!), but I am not really a caster so would need someone else to do that.

    don't stress it man

just play the game, if you get stomped you get stomped

just try and play your best and try and learn something from every game you play, ie maybe you slacked on worker production, maybe you got supply blocked bad, maybe you expanded too late, maybe you should have had some more production facilities up sooner

    etc

and hey, maybe you are platinum level!

edit: for further support, most people's matchmaking starts reflecting their skill after about 30 games, give or take -- until then you will have a variety of opponents as the matchmaker tries and figures out where you truly belong

SC2 thread, long time no see.

I'd like some suggestions from you guys; which do you think are the best Day9 episodes? Mostly considering how fun the episode was. A friend of mine wants to start his own videogame blog and I believe Day9 is a great example of how to keep it fun and informational at the same time.
